The breakfast sandwiches usually come out rather soggy. This has been mentioned on several reviews. Perhaps it would be better to order it «well-done.» The Caesars are quite well made, so this helps get over the quality of the sandwich. Perhaps next time I will order the sandwich«bun-less» and with toast to avoid the issues. Friendly bar staff who are outgoing and willing to make a spicy drink.

After getting off my flight from SeaTac and having a 3 hour layover, I was pleasantly surprised that there was a nice place like this right out of my gate. I sat myself and a server by the name of Kate greeted me shortly after she was friendly and took my order. I got the dragon bowl with chicken. I did not have to wait long and Athens food looked great very nice presentation and the taste was on point. Got a good amount of food for the price and for being in a airport it was really good.

Came here last week to grab food before heading on a flight early in the morning. I had a chicken wrap. No idea when it was made, but it was pretty darn wet and soggy when I ate it on the plane. It was one of the worst wraps I have ever eaten. It just did not taste fresh or right. I was worried I would get food poisoning or throw up on the flight. Thankfully I left unscathed. My recommendation is to starve and wait till you land than to buy one of their wraps to go. Never again.

I have always had great food here which is top quality. The prices are a little high but worth it when you see the quality of the waitstaff and atmosphere. The management here does a great job. The pod Thai is awesome I may have had it too many times now and the dry ribs are outstanding I suggest both

Based on other reviews I wasn’t expecting much from Scotty B’s at the airport. So I wasn’t terribly disappointed. But really 2 thin pieces of bacon a smattering of hash browns, 2 eggs and an English muffin for $ 12. Not well seasoned, just meh!!! Really I’ve had significantly better at Denny’s, Even the coffee was mediocre at best. Why is it that airport food has to be expensive and crappy. Really if you need breakfast before going to the airport stop at the AMPM on the corner of Bennett and Bakerview, for the price they probably have better food.

I was warned it would be overpriced. With the kitchen closed at 4, who knows? What is the point of having one place to eat at the airport if they close in the middle of the day? Bartender snotty and as noted the prices high.

The food is average(but a little slow). The service has been terrible on my last two visits. Most recently it was the worst I’ve ever had. I had to beg to have my order taken, food arrived 35 minutes later(I ordered a salad) and I had to keep asking random employees for a fork until i finally got one six minutes after receiving my food(and now cold chicken). I had to physically get up and track down someone to take my money(even though I was at the bar which, granted, was busy). I can’t remember the last time I left no tip but I didn’t leave one here. I recommend you eat at the SB in town or, if you must eat at the airport, grab from their takeout case.

I was so glad to find a Scotty Browns at the Bellingham Airport past security. With no security line and no real reason to be super early, it was nice to have a cool bar to sit at for our hour wait. We just had drinks which were good and served by friendly gal. Scotty Brown’s is part of a company from Vancouver BC, they’re bars and restaurants have a modern and urban feel. Dark wood tones, dim lighting, make this a very comfortable place to wait before a flight.

So my mom and I are in Bellingham, WA waiting for our flight, and we found this one restaurant in this tiny airport. The waitresses greeted us politely and told us to sit at a table. She had a very positive attitude throughout our time eating here and even checked back with us to see if we were doing well, with a smile on her face. I can’t really complain about this place at all, especially for a restaurant at an airport. So customer service is a solid 5. The food is a little pricey but definitely worth your money, very filling. The food was very delicious as well. I highly recommend this place if you plan on waiting for a flight at the Bellingham airport.

Scotty Browns Social House is located in Bellingham International Airport(BLI) — post security. It’s a sit down bar and restaurant. I grabbed a high top table and ordered a breakfast sandwich — sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. What I did not realize is this is a panini version of the breakfast sandwich. Meaning it’s done in a Panini press. It was extremely greasy and quite frankly not very good. I ended up scraping out the sausage and egg and eating that and discarding the English muffin as it was so greasy as to be unpleasant to eat. The music was cranked up way to loud for 8:00 am in the morning. It was extremely loud in there. There were a lot of people sitting in there drinking beers and screwdrivers at that time of the morning. Service was about the only thing that was good in this place. Oh and there were a lot of HD TVs.

I don’t particularly like eating at the airport, but I have to say this place provided a very pleasant experience. This is the only sit-down restaurant past security at the Bellingham airport. It has an «express» counter for sandwiches and drinks too, but there are a couple other places like that at this airport. This review is for the sit-down part only. They’ve got an assortment of appetizers and burgers, along with a few salads and sandwiches, plus two types of tacos and three types of pizza. There’s a variety of beers on tap, along with bottled beer, wine, and cocktails. You’ll pay on the order of $ 6 per pint and $ 8 per glass of wine, but it’s certainly comparable to other places outside the airport. I had the spicy chicken burger, which I surprisingly learned was deep fried, and a glass of Mac and Jacks. I sat down to order an hour before my flight was scheduled to take off and the food came with plenty of time to eat, pay and board. One thing: the fries were fantastic, the perfect blend of crisp, oil, and salt. Overall a great place to eat if you don’t have too much time before you take off. Watch some hockey/basketball/football, have a beer, and take the load off. The waitresses are cute too!

Fellow Unilocalers beware — Scotty Brown’s at Bellingham International Airport is a ripoff and exploits its customers because they think they have a captive audience. In fact, they do not. Although this is the only«sit down» restaurant inside Bellingham Airport, there IS an alternative — Halibut Henry’s — a good, friendly, wholesome and much more reasonably priced snack/sandwich place just 50 yards or so down the concourse. So unless you really want to sit and be served(and pay too high a price for too small a portion of food), you can do much better(thank you TSA guys both for keeping us safe and for letting me know there was a second place to go!). Before I discovered Halibut Henry’s, I ordered a «bowl» of soup($ 7) at the Scotty Brown’s express counter. I was asked if I wanted any breadsticks. I replied that I would be fine with just the oyster crackers or saltines that came with the soup(Aren’t those things standard when you order soup? They are in most places). I was told that crackers did not come with the soup but I could purchase breadsticks(50 c each). When my soup arrived, the container was very tiny — maybe 8 oz at most, but probably less. Assuming I was mistakenly given a cup of soup instead of the bowl I ordered, I went back to the counter to get the correct sized portion. I was told rather apologetically that this was indeed what they now call a «bowl» of soup, and that the cup portion was half that size(4 oz or perhaps less). The server told me that«corporate» recently decided cut the portions essentially in half but continue to charge the same price. In addition, the breadstick I ordered was no more than 3″ long, and probably even smaller than that. The server suggested that I speak with the manager, who came over and explained that it was a «corporate» decision(not hers) to reduce the portion size and there was not really anything she could do. I told her she could take their tiny portion of unopened, uneaten food back and refund my purchase in full, which she did(but let’s be clear — she did not offer that — I had to refuse the food, and ask for a refund using my angry face). I then walked about 50 yds to Halibut Henry’s and discovered that they had more options than fresh but prepackaged sandwiches — they had hot, yummy genuine Ivar’s Clam Chowder that was served in a «normal» non-ripoff bowl size and was a dollar cheaper than the fake tiny bowl at Scotty Brown’s. So more than twice as much for less money, and clam chowder to die for — thank you Hailbut Henry’s, and sayonara, Scotty Brown’s. Keep clam! By the way, I have been told that Scotty Brown’s is a US subsidiary of the Canadian chain of pubs called Brown’s Social House. As someone who is dual American and Canadian and who lives in Vancouver, guess where I won’t be going once I get back home?!! Corporate Scotty Brown’s or Brown’s Social House — be a good Canadian, eh? Apologize and go do the right thing. Your current formula will not get you very far in the long run.

With the incompetence of Allegiant Air, I had to eat multiple meals at Scotty Browns since it’s the only restaurant in BLI. As far as airport restaurants go, this is not bad at all. There’s the to-go/quick hot items menu on one side, and the full sit-down/bar making up the rest. Decent service and the food isn’t bad — appetizers, burgers, pizzas and fries are the bulk of the options. Some tacos, salads and a rice bowl option. Basically the menu is a mini version of Brown’s Social House(for Vancouverites who need a frame of reference). They have their own wi-fi and password which is much better than the general one for the rest of the terminal. The only major con is that it’s really loud.

Foods good, service is okay, menu is limited. As far as airport meals go, it’s excellent, but compared to any other Browns it doesn’t really cut it. Biggest disappointment is the bartender giving you the bill right after you order. I find that extremely rushed and rude service. Most people at an airport come to a restaurant to kill time, not be forced out.

As airport food/bars go, the bar top service here was excellent, and the ladies were very attentive without being overbearing or intrusive. The quesadilla plate I ordered came quickly and was pretty good! For an airport bar, I would say definitely one I would enjoy returning to.

While my expectations of any food served in an airport is generally low, Scotty Browns was able to sink even further. While the servers were super nice and quick, the breakfast we ordered tasted like it was made the day before, refried in extra grease, and slopped on a plate. I’ve had far better breakfasts at McDonalds. Even the English Muffin barely resembled a bread product as it was obviously thrown on a dirty, greasy grill and used as a cover for a piece of old, nasty sausage patty. Yuck, yuck, yuck! I’ll stay away from any Scotty Browns based on this experience – at the airport or elsewhere. Barf!

This is located after you have checked into the airport and crossed security. We were hungry while waiting for our flight so we grabbed a bite and drink before getting on the plane. I had a burger and fries which I find was quite satisfying for me. It’s pub food so you shouldn’t expect everything, however the portion was very fair. Our service was quick and the server was friendly. She took jokes very well. The value of what you get is pretty good. Keep in mind that this is located inside an airport. Any restaurant you find inside an airport has slightly higher prices, but I found this wasn’t really overpriced. Give this place a shot the next time you fly from Bellingham because I know I most likely will. It’s quite nice.

Had an hour to kill so we sat in and each had a beer and shared a plate of fish tacos. The service was fast, the Food was fresh and hot. Our server even paid attention to detail like asking if we wanted extra lime for the tacos. Our plane did an early boarding call, and our server was quick to get us out on time. Next time we may go earlier and enjoy it more. Moderately priced for airport loung food, good value!

AndThis was the closest(only food) stop passing time at Bellingham Int’l airport. Didn’t need full service bar so just went over to Scotty Browns Express. Right next to the restaurant and served items you find at Starbucks. Sandwiches that are warmed up and parfaits. Spinach & peppers sandwich was very tasty but the oats topping the parfait was soggy. Served it’s purpose till we got to Seattle.

Excellent food & service all the way around . We were waiting for our Vegas flight, hungry and had about an hour to kill. This was inside the Bellingham airport, after you get through security. It seemed packed, but we didn’t have to wait, a smiling hostess took us to a booth in the back. A waitress who was very friendly came over and took our drink orders, shortly after we were seated. My belini was super yummy and came decorated with a fizzy gummy peach candy — what a nice fun touch ! I ordered a pizza, with some changes made to what was Listed on the menu. The waitress was cool about it and said it would be no problem. The other girls came over and brought a bottle of water to refill our glasses once they were empty, which was smart. Thy also were thoughtful to ask us how long we had before our flight. The pizza was SO good! It was chicken w/o the BBQ sauce. The crust was perfect ! I ate about half of it, and I took the rest to take on the plane to eat later. Ordered another drink and split it with my GF. Her meal and drink were also very good. We didn’t have to wait long for the bill or the box for the pizza. The waitress got a nice well deserved tip. When we left, a number of the staff took the time to say goodbye and wish us a safe flight. I highly recommend getting to the airport early to eat here, or at least have a drink. What a great way to start the trip !
