Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Chris purchased the Bellingham and Mount Vernon Sylvan Centers in 1995. He is married and the proud father of two boys who have experienced Sylvan’s benefits firsthand at their local center in Canada. In 2005, Chris opened another Sylvan location in Oak Harbor to service the Island County community.

As the Executive Director of 3 Sylvans in Washington State, he is proud of the accomplishments of his staff in delivering high quality customer service to students, families, and school districts throughout Whatcom, Skagit, and Island Counties.

In the 2010 School Year, the Bellingham, Mount Vernon, and Oak Harbor Sylvan’s were an approved OSPI provider of SES services for public schools. Our Sylvan Centers provided FREE lessons to over 145 students through the provisions of the No Child Left Behind Act. We are again proud to have been approved to provide services again for the upcoming ²⁰¹¹⁄₂₀₁₂ school year.
