Oh yes. Yes please. I’ve only been here for brunch, but I will have to come back for dinner. This place is a quintessential«new american» style eatery(maybe a bit hipster in a good way?) with high quality ingredients and tasty offerings such as shakshuka, spatzle, beignets and more. I was pretty surprised to see all of those on the same menu, but when I saw the monte cristo on special, I know I needed to have it. The sandwich came in two pieces, perfectly crispy on the outside(fried like a french toast) and a neat assortment of cheese, two types of hams and strawberry jam inside. It was so well put together, I was really impressed. Guess what, they serve Smith tea! I had Portland flashbacks at that point. Portions are good and well measured(not too much), prices are a little bit higher than other places I’ve been to nearby, but for the location and the quality of food the price is right. I’m used to greasy spoon places in north Washington and was not expecting a little piece of Portland right here in Bellingham.

Always excellent food. We had our son’s graduation brunch here with 10 other friends. Everyone loved it! Can’t beat that — especially knowing how picky some are!

I love the Fork. Delicious local ingredients and fantastic coffee. My husband and I have breakfast here several times a month. The Benedict is tasty, the spätzle and eggs is my personal favorite recently and the beignets are amazing for a special treat. I love the peaceful drive along the lake to get there, a perfect weekend breakfast spot.

We visited for breakfast today. The host and waitress were very nice. The menu is a little limited but everything on it seemed promising. The coffee was piping hot and refilled continuously. The food is delicious and there are menu items from different cuisines: Mediterranean, German, & Mexican. Everything turned out fantastic. The fried Spatzel is my favorite. We will be back!

Tasty food with nice atmosphere. I had«Grilled bone in pork chop» and my husband ad Spaghetti. Pork chop was nice portion. Comes with rolls but I don’t think it was homemade. Prices were a bit expensive, but great overall.

The Fork is one of my favorite places for brunch. My husband and I usually make an effort to get there right when they open because it can get quite busy. We’ve had many of the dishes– eggs benedict, shakshuka, huevos ranchero, corned beef hash and they have all been delicious. If you’re looking for something sweet– the cottage cake stack and beignets are amazing! I’d give 5 stars, but I’ve had mixed experiences with the service. It has also been difficult making reservations for dinner– I’ve never been able to get to a real person when calling.(Which is probably why we always go to breakfast instead)

Recently took my husband to «The Fork» as I’ve commonly heard it referred to… we went last Saturday for breakfast and there was a bike race going on right outside the restaurant, which is probably why it was a lot busier than usual. We parked right up front and were seated immediately and given water and menus… it took a bit for the server to get to us, but again, they were busy. My husband ordered the chicken-fried steak and hash browns for $ 13 and I had the crispy spatzel and eggs with the apple sausage for $ 12…both were awesome… I’ll be hard pressed to order something else next time when I know how good mine was before… they also serve lunch and dinner… Their website states: «Their house-made seasonal menu is devoted to thoughtfully sourcing local ingredients, and reviving simple, scratch-kitchen classics with a new twist.» I found this to be true… So…two thumbs up from me… I’ll def be making the drive out there again… which, btw, was beautiful… I’ve never been out that way before… it seemed like a lengthy drive but it really wasn’t…already planning my next breakfast there…

Came for brunch on Saturday. They were quite busy, so it was a bit loud and it took a little while for our order to be taken. That said, the hostess delivered our drinks quickly, so the wait wasn’t painful. The mimosa is delicious! We both had the crispy spaetzl with eggs and house made sausage.(Eggs were a smidge overdone for over medium). Very tasty! Definitely mix in the pickled onion to give it a bit of tanginess. Not much sound deadening so can be a bit loud. Can’t wait to try dinner.

One of my favorites for Saturday or Sunday brunch. When it’s on the menu, the soft polenta is exceptional(served with eggs). My favorite, and usual choice is the portobello mushroom sandwich on brioche roll with salad, asparagus, goat cheese, sweet pickled cabbage. So good. Have also been here for dinner, and that was also enjoyable, but not as memorable(for me) as brunch(my favorite meal of the day anyway)!

The ambience of the fork is warm due to the little twinkle lights everywhere But if it wasn’t for those it would be very stark. We were not super hungry upon arrival so we ordered a couple of appetizers to share, bowls of soup and drinks. I would say that our waitress wasn’t too pleased with the fact that we were not ordering entrees, she was rather cold to us. The high rating is due to the quality of food most of all… The shrimp and grits was outstanding, creamy and rich with a pleasant yet spicy garlic sauce! The squash soup with pumpkin seeds was, medium in thickness and a sweet flavor that made you love coming in from the pouring rain. Their mimosa was unique with a touch of pomegranate juice in it. I would definitely go back again.

Went with a party of six for my husbands birthday. The food was lovely-?our server was excellent. Everyone loved their dishes… except me– BUT — I don’t think it was their fault. My scallops were too rare for my taste– probably great for anyone else. Highly recommend.

It might be difficult to eat here some times due to the limited space preventing you from just showing up without a reservation but the food served is worth the wait. Took my wife here on the day I asked her to marry me, we «pigged out». I learned that one of my favorites are the garlic truffle frites. Perfect lunchtime snack. Great seeing too.

I have had the pleasure of dining there on a date and as a group and every single time… the service and food are superb. The brunch is definitely worth the drive. I love that the menu is fresh and new every time we go. This is a wonderful spot for a casual or romantic meal.

We have lived just down the street for the last couple of years and have really enjoyed our visits to the fork. Brunch, pizzas, or dinner we have always had great service and great food. We are sad we will be moving away but I have no doubt we will be making the trip out to visit. It’s worth the drive!

Cottage pancake was AMAZING! One of the pancakes I’ve had. What’s their secret?! Made with cottage cheese so it’s so moist and delish! Other dishes were also good. I got baked eggs with feta and spicy tomato sauce. Really flavorful and tasty. I like runny yolk with my baked eggs, so for my taste a little over cooked. My friend got shrimp and grits. Was saucy and perfectly cooked. Ambiance is quant, bright and warm. Service is good and friendly staff. Location away from city but close to lake Whatcom. Also kid friendly! Overall great brunch spot in Bellingham.

Went with relatives from out of town with high expectations, but unfortunately was served pork ribs that were terribly overdone. No one came to check how meal was turning out, which is standard at most places. For $ 24 a plate, I would not expect to be served bar-b-q sauce covered cinders. These should never have left the kitchen! It was like chewing hard blackened gristle. It wasn’t just one plate but three out of three orders were really bad. Finally when bill arrived, they did offer to take off 10%, which I found borderline offensive. Three of our six person party basically only got appetizers. Sadly disappointed.

Finally visited after years of people recommending it Reserved a Sat evening for my wedding anniversary at 6:00pm. We waited and weren’t seated until 6:15pm. Had to ask someone for a menu because we never got them. They told us they got people’s reservations wrong and were scrambling to seat people… okay but my reservation was RIGHT, but seating us was not a priority. Our food arrived after 1HOUR. My ass was hurting from being put outside on the rod iron chairs. At that point I just wanted out of there. The food was not worth the wait. If it had been exceptional, I would have forgiven the terrible service. They should at least offer hard alcohol to help people get through the experience. Will not be returning.

Wow! Such mixed reviews would make me avoid The Fork. I have high expectations of restaurants that attempt to be fancier and I personally give The Fork at Agate Bay 5 stars. I’m in the area every summer & finally decided to try lunch in this funky little restaurant hidden in a land far, far away. Anna attentively served our table. The red ale was as good as one finds in a Belfast pub. I selected among some small plates & found everything to be perfectly fantastic. The shrimp & grits was as good as what I’ve found on the Georgia coast. I’d like to see a larger portion size if I wanted this to be my only entrée. The lamb«lollipops» were delicious and I finally felt free to gnaw meet off the bone in a manner that is frowned upon for a polite middle-aged man. My wife’s pizza had a perfectly baked crust, but the sauce could have been a bit more zesty & tomatoes sliced more thinly. The Fork has very limited hours but is definitely worth the journey into the wilderness. For my next visit, I might try the chicken – it appears to be the freshest in town.
