Huge Walmart superstore in Bellingham-who would have thought? First time in here and surprisingly organized. Just came in to get snacks

Went to shop for a magic set for a ten year old and was surprised to find out they don’t carry any magic stuff for kids. I guess Wallmart doesn’t support future magicians. :(

One thing that’s nice about American stores is that the selection is so much better than the Canadian equivalent. Parking is available in the nice large lot out front. The inside is huge — one almost can’t see the other end. They have almost everything one needs to survive, other than cars. One can spend hours wandering the aisles in awe, like a child. Prices have definitely gone up compared to years past. Again it may be because of the exchange rate, but the deals I remembered from back then were often not to be had, outside of clearance items. With that said, their canned goods and instant foods are really cheap here. Totally loaded up.

This Walmart is not very good. Pros: –very convenient Cons: –messy –not cheaper than target or costco –very crowded –hard to find parking –has a weird smell

This Walmart is just your basic discount general merchandise and food store. No deli, bakery, or fresh meat department. Most things are stocked better in the store these days then in past years/months, employees can be helpful most of the time, other times not so much. In the past the sales floor would be covered in pallets of merchandise in the middle of the afternoon. That does not happen as much as it use to. There is a new store manager and actually most management has changed in recent months A downside is compared to most walmarts I have seen the store looks pretty run down in areas, ugly old looking floor, missing ceiling tiles, non matching paint splotches on registers ect. It desperately needs another remodel, or perhaps a lot of touch ups.

It’s certainly not perfect, but it works for me. The main thing I care about is getting inexpensive products, which the store offers. It beats going to the mall for items.

Its Walmart. It is always crazy busy. Necessary evil for some. One stop shop, but a pain.

I love how you read the reviews here, and most of the reviewers attribute their dislike for this Walmart to us Canadians, as if we can all be lumped up into one stereotype, and as if Bellingham’s economy does not benefit from people like us, and as if you don’t smell too, or scratch awkward areas when nobody’s looking. YEAH. Annoyance towards the prejudice and misplaces superiority aside, I can say I personally love Walmart, and this happens to be the closest to us Canadians(yes I don’t feign superiority, nor do I judge). It is great for bathroom stops, a quick shopping trip for the usual essentials, and I must say I LOVE their tire centre in the back. The guys who work there are so friendly and unpretentious – regardless of my nationality. Walmart doesn’t need my endorsement anyway, and I’m sure my one review is not going to change the fact that us rude Canadians will keep coming here and buy all your stuff! ha!

Your basic Wally World with all the usual stock, prices and limited staff. Gotta love the predictable locals at every border town that complain about«The Rude Canadians». Sigh, Canadians are known to be polite to a fault… and here’s a secret, they’re good for most sad little border towns economy, no GREAT for the economy.

I love this Walmart because they have everything I need & very helpful employees. My favorite part of the store is the pharmacy department. Felicia is a wonderful pharmacist — careful and efficient.

This is why I dislike going to Walmart. Their customer service is lacking. I accidentally read the handwritten sign wrong on their self service check out thinking it said cash only. As I was scanning I realized it said cards only no cash back, clearly my mistake. I apologized to the cashier who after she made a rude comment cleared the sale went on to loudly tell the next customer how«some people» can’t read. Really? My mistake clearly but no need to pour salt in a wound.

One of the bottom tier of Walmarts in the state. It is what it is. But be careful, bring your own bag for groceries, because they(along with other stores in Bellingham) charge 5 cents for a bag.

Most of the employees here would rather run you over then help you. They stock for the Canadian shoppers so if you live here and want stuff most likely the shelf will be empty you will want to go to Winco. And heaven forbid you complain you will just be made to feel like it’s your fault. When this place first opened it was much different. Maybe if they paid their employees a good rate they would have better customer service.

I wish this was a better class of store. The employees are polite but the patrons in the store and parking lot are on the rude side. Very unusual for Bellingham as it’s such a polite place to live. I’ve decided not to go into the store unless I absolutely must that’s how bad it is.

I don’t like going to Walmart because people always seem to be in a bad mood. I’d rather just go to Target or Winco.

Oh man, I hate to do this but here goes. If the nasty smell of McDonalds does not scare you away when you enter the front door, maybe the dirty glass, shopping carts, rugs, and endless finger prints will. I’m sorry, it’s not all WalMarts fault. Some of it lies in the clientele that a «low price guarantee» store attracts. In fact, don’t even complain about not getting good service here as you Don’t Want To Pay For It! Otherwise you’d be shopping somewhere else! I use to shop here once and awhile. Those days are over. Yuck! If you must shop at a Walmart head to Mount Vernon.

Too messy to find anything. I don’t have high expectations for Walmart but any district manager would be offended to see how sloppy this location looks. Warning for those from out of town — I would estimate that 75% of the traffic is from Canadians. This makes the store super busy and the parking lot messy and chaotic. If you need to go to Walmart, I suggest driving 20 minutes south and going to the Mt Vernon location — much cleaner and it is a Superstore.

I would give it negative 5 stars if I could. It might not be so bad if you can keep the extremely rude people who love to just plow right over you out of the dang store, but then again it is Walmart that we’re talking about! The store constantly is out of stock of millions of items and yet they have tons of pallets of unopened merchandise on the floor everywhere the eye can see! Of course when you ask a Walmart associate to possibly check for the item you need in the pallets of stock waiting to be put on the shelves, they come up with some lame excuse as to why they can’t. In reality it is that they just don’t want to be bothered. In all honesty I’d rather pay more money and take my chances at Target!

This place i hear circus music everytime in. This Walmart is constantly busy all the time. I guess the perk is if you work here the time must fly by lol.

It’s true, the fellow americans don’t like this one either! This is one of the worst Walmarts ever: it’s always messy, disorganized, and really unknowledgeable staff! Ask for this and that, and they usually answer«oh, i don’t know’…not sure if this is as bad as ‘poor customer service’ lol. But one thing i do notice a lot more now is that it’s become more ghetto; a different clientele versus the Walmart by Tulalip… more kids, more loud ppl, … And at night time, in the parking lot, just doesn’t feel as safe or well-lit as others…
