Speedy Subzero

They don’t even deserve one star! They are disgusting! Specially SAL who fixes sub zero! He came into my house and treated me like an idiot and raised his voice. The owner is even worst. When I called to complain he didn’t even give a shit. He was trying to ruin my sub zero so he can pretend that it needs service. Worst worst worst worst people to deal with. Including the woman who answers the phone named Helen. Oh and they told me just a service charge is $ 65 before they came to my house. but When SAL came to my house the fee changed to $ 100. They are thief’s.

I called Speedy and after speaking to an answering service they said a technician would call me within 10 minutes. Seven minutes I received the call and spoke to Brian. He gave me an ETA next day of 8 to 10 am and showed up at 8:40 after calling me
Brian was absolutely a great technician, explained everything as he went along and quickly diagnosed the problem. It seemed that the ice maker was leaking water to the bottom of the refridgerator causing a 4 inch block of ice preventing the intake of air to the refridgerator. Simple problem simple solution and just a service charge that was well worth it
Before calling Speedy I spoke to 2 other repair places that were already telling me I may have to replace the compressor or the. Starting mechanism a costly repair
I will always call this service and have already spoke to several neighbors in the event they ever need
Brian was courteous on time and a great all around guy. You can clearly see he takes pride in his work and his integrity in this household will never be questioned

They did the dryer repair all right, but very expensive. And something mysteriously broke on my washing machine a few days later. Hmmm…

This service company is horrendous. It took them over a week to get a appointment and then 3 weeks to come back after the assessment. Upon arriving back to repair our appliance the service man could barley communicate. Then he could not access our appliance because of silicone. They represent themselves as qualified repair company but had know idea how to access a appliance that was installed like any other appliance would be. After speaking with a equally incompetent supervisor we were left with a $ 80 bill and a still broken stove top.

I don’t know if this is the 24 hour Speedy Appliance Service that services all of NYC and Nassau/​Suffolk– but they were great. I call this past Sunday evening (⁵⁄₂₉) at around 10:30 p.m. because my refrigerator was getting warm and the freezer was starting to get frost on it. I was told someone would be here the next morning between 9am-​12pm (Memorial Day). Not only did the guy call before he came, he showed up at about 9am on the dot, fixed my refrigerator in about twenty minutes and was on his way. The refrigerator now works like a charm. He also had no problem with me standing behind him watching as he did the job. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again (hopefully no time soon).

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! We waited all day for a service call only to be called 45 minutes after the latest hour and told they couldn’t make it and that they would absolutely be here between 1 & 2 the next day. Well, it’s 2:50 the next day and the tech just called from the WHITESTONE BRIDGE! I think not!
