Cat Sitting is $ 22 for a 20 minute visit. (Includes play, feeding, litter box cleaning and medication administration)

Individual Dog Walks:

$ 17 for a 20 minute visit.

$ 25 for a 40 minute visit.

$ 35 for a 60 minute visit.



Pet Sitting (4 visits per calendar day) — $ 70 per day (1st dog, Additional dog is $ 20 per day).

After 20 years in customer service I decided to follow my passion with pets and start A&BPS. I wanted a company that was based on old fashioned values, where you help best you can without taking advantage of emergencies or medical needs. We charge flat rates for our time and not additional fees for tasking (though we do not perform snow removal). I get to say I play with dogs and cats professionally. How could I not enjoy what I do?

We are so fortunate to have found Above and Beyond, and specifically, to have our wonderful dog-​sitter Julie take care of our puppy! We were nervous first-​time puppy owners going back to work when we found Ted and his company. Letting a stranger into your house and trusting them with your brand new puppy is nerve racking! But Julie has left us SO comfortable, happy, and reassured. Moreover, we know that our puppy loves her… and she loves him! It’s really nice to come home and see sweet notes from Julie, gushing about how much she loves our adorable puppy and how she looks forward to seeing him every day. When we didn’t need her visits on a holiday, she told us how much she missed him. She spoils him with love, affection, treats, and training. She even cleans up the dog poop in the back yard, which she insists on doing even though we tell her she doesn’t have to. It is really nice being able to come home and know that your puppy was in good hands, your home is safe, and that there is nothing to worry about. We cherish Julie and how much she cares for pup. As an added bonus, she’s super conscientious about keeping the house clean, and she even has brought in packages for me so they don’t stay outside on the front step when we’re not home. We love Julie and appreciate everything she and Ted have done for us and our cute sweet baby!

I can not say enough good about this wonderful company.
My pup «Rue» absolutely loves the whole team.
I travel often… possibly too often, and often at the last minute.
I have called upon Ted in times of need/​crisis and he has always made time for me and my lil four legged babe.
I am never worried about her safety or care.
I have never been disappointed.
I feel confident leaving my world in the hands of these loving folks.
She is always happy and healthy when I get back and with no sign of any kind of «separation» anxiety or depression. I know she is loved in my absence.
Honestly, this team has literally saved my life on several accounts.

Just used them last minute to take care of our 2 cats over the holiday break. I loved that they sent me daily messages with photos of our cats. They personalized the message too which was really appreciated. Our one cat is less social but I was happy to see that she loved them and was playing with the sitters. I will definitely use them again. The key exchange was nice and simple and I was able to do most of the work to schedule the sitters via email which was very convenient. Very happy with the service.

We just moved to Belmont and had to find a cat sitter for the holidays. Ted was responsive and caring, working with us to get all the information and key hand off done quickly and easily. Rachel, our sitter, was great! She sent pictures and little messages after each visit which made us feel really at-​ease that our cats were being well-​cared for. You can tell she loves animals and goes the extra mile to make sure they feel loved even when you are away. We’ll definitely keep using Above and Beyond Pet Services!

Courtney at Above and Beyond is great with my two peekapoos. They look forward to their daily walks. She take great care of one of my dogs that is diabetic and blind. Ted at ABPS hires folks who are trained and certified, so if something were ever to happen and I was away, I know I could count on them.

Ted at Above and Beyond does a stellar job at his business. Nothing like a professional! Rachel took great care of my two cats filling their water bowls, checking their crunchies, cleaning their litter boxes and being available to play with them despite their hiding. She sent me emails every day! It is such a relief to have finally found a dependable, professional, reasonably priced pet sitting service for my beloved kitties.

Ted and Above and Beyond have been great for us and our cat! We’ve used Above and Beyond twice (with fairly short notice) and Ted is responsive, helpful, and accommodating.
He makes logistics and key exchange very easy and you feel totally comfortable that your pet is in good hands. He is flexible with arrangements and easy to reach via email.
I haven’t met any of the other caregivers but our old house had plants on two floors and they were willing to water all of them and bring in our mail. Above and Beyond is totally worth it for the peace of mind and great service!

Above and Beyond has been great for our puppy! Our puppy loves his walker, Courtney, and is always so excited to see her. Courtney leaves a note every time she walks our dog to let us know how he is doing. It is great to know our dog is in such good hands during the day while we are at work. I would highly recommend Above and Beyond for anyone looking at dog walking services!

Above and Beyond Pet Service does a great job watching our cats! My wife and I have 3 cats, and all 3 need special care: one has OCD, one has depression, and one will eat everything in sight, including her brother’s food. Above and Beyond does a terrific job handling all of their special needs!
We have used Above and Beyond 2 times so far and will use them again when we go on our honeymoon in the spring. We first discovered them through Unilocal when searching for a last minute cat sitter. We talked to Ted and he was able to help us out right away.
Most recently, Khristy and Rachel did an amazing job and we came back to 3 happy and healthy cats. We especially love their email updates — with pictures! — that help ease our worries while we are away. We definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable and responsible cat sitter.

I honestly don’t know how we would have managed without them. «Above and beyond» is truly their approach to all they do – no request is too small or too large. I read all the great reviews and had high hopes for setting up dog walking, so I sent an email.
I inquired about mid-​day visits twice a week, usually on the same two days, with possible changes for holidays. Ted informed me that they have three options for mid-​day visits: M/​W/​F, Tu/​Th, or M-​F. It isn’t possible to have your dog walked on any other schedule.
So, to be clear: you can’t have your dog walked just one day a week. You can’t have your dog walked on a Monday and a Thursday. You can’t have Tuesday and Wednesday only. et cetera. To me, this seems absurd. I am incredulous that they can’t even accommodate something as basic as two days per week which are not just Tu/​Th. I can’t arrange my life around my dog walker’s arbitrary schedule. I get a dog walker to make my life simpler, not more complicated. As a «Pet Services» provider, they are certainly not going «Above & Beyond.»
Two stars because Ted was very polite and responsive via email.

I have been using above and beyond for about 6 months They have been great to us. My girls [Dogs]
love there dog walker Courtney .Best dog walker ever. She is so good with my dogs. She treats them like there her own. My girls look forward to seeing her .The reason I got above and beyond is because I had surgery. Need a walker fast. One day I was driving and I seen this women and it was Courtney and she was walking a dog. Right away she said yes we can walk your dogs and from there on she still walks are girls. Great personality caring she has been a angel for us, I feel very comfortable with there service. I trust them fully. They really do go above and beyond. Ever need a walker there the go to

We love Above and Beyond! They are super attentive, flexible, and caring to our dog Thunder. We have been using them for a month, and they’ve left notes after every visit, brought in our packages, and have been available for extra visits when needed. Ted hires the best people, and our main walker Raquel is so kind and very insightful with her messages. Can not recommend this business more highly.

I have used Ted and his service several times. Everytime they have been flawless.
To make me even more impressed Khristy who Ted described as dipped in bacon made our black cat Midnight like her. Midnight is scared of his own shadow. Rather amusing since he is supposed to be the one scaring people not the reverse.
Our neighbor has been on a one year mission to make Midnight like him. I think he considers it an insult since everything else loves him. He is still trying.
So a shout out to Khristy for getting Midnight to like her. We won’t tell our neighbor.

After years of calling in favors with friends, my husband and I manned up and decided it was time to trust our cat with a professional service. After a lot of searching, we settled on Above & Beyond Pet Services. They were professional and reliable throughout the process. While we were away, my husband and I received emails from those who visited with photos attached to update us on how she was doing.
While everyone was really wonderful, I have to give a shoutout to Brianna. We were surprised to hear that our cat «enjoyed attention» and were even more shocked to see a photo of her being pet (an impossible task). My husband and I thought this was too good to be true…
But sure enough, when we got back, instead of our cat frantically meowing and rubbing against our legs when we returned (as she always has in the past), we got a quick hello before she promptly trotted off. I think we have been replaced as her favorites. Now that is excellent care… almost too excellent!
Will definitely be using Above & Beyond whenever we go away from now on. Thank you again!!!

I LOVE THIS TEAM!
This review is a little overdue. We have been using Above and Beyond for about 5 months. We had a very bad experience at a boarding place in watertown and decided we didnt want to leave our pups with other dogs. Thank god for Ted and his team! They are great. When you are away they will come over 4 times a day. Feed the pups, walk them, play with them. Our two babies love Above and Beyond. In addition, they are great with last min changes and are very accommodating. They also leave little notes every time they come to tell us how the dogs did on each visit.
We have two dogs, one 65lb mix and another little shihpoo… hes only 12lbs. They have no problem walking both the dogs together. They are also great at following instructions. Definitely give them a try!
