I purchased a 2013 SL550 lease return from a local dealer who had sent the vehicle out to be «detailed» before offering it up for sale. The detail job was amateurish at best. They left wax residue around the hood and doorsills, scuffs and stains on the door panels, etc. Basically they just ran it through a car wash and applied a quick coat of wax — which they didn’t bother to completely remove and buff.
The car was 3 years old and while in good condition, the paint was showing its age. I brought it to Andrew for paint correction and Opti Gloss Coat. All I can say is WOW! You can check out the before and after photos yourself:

Andrew is obsessive and won’t rest until the job meets his exceptionally high standards. My results are fantastic. All paint defects were corrected and the Opti Gloss provides an amazing rich gloss. The car looks brand new. Seriously.
Andrew is a great guy. He provided good communication before, during and after the job. He even followed up with a detailed email with suggestions for future maintenance and product recommendations.
If you’re looking for a $ 200 «detailing» from your local car wash, this isn’t it. If you want your car restored to showroom condition, Andrew is your man.

I took my Accord over to Andrew after driving it for just around 500 miles. This would be the first wash since leaving the dealership so I wanted to give my car the best chance of lasting the often associated 200k miles.
I was initially attracted to the Opti Gloss for the preventative care but Andrew provided way more. A day and a half later the finished product was spotless and streak-​less. It’s overall mirror-​like shine was layered with a extra smooth paint finish that made the back of my hand forget the concept of friction.
I can only praise Andrew’s craftsmanship so much but if you’re serious about auto detailing, Andrew will also explain his process to maintain your vehicle’s newly acquired shine on your own.

Excellent service from a true professional. Andrew is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. I have a new to me alpine white BMW M Roadster that needed a good buff. Being white, I did think that the paint was that bad, but yes, there were a ton of swirl marks, etc. that he was able to point out. When I got the car back, it looked brand new. It is hard to find good mechanics and auto detailers, but once you do, they are worth every penny.

Wow, just wow. I called Andrew in a rush for an interior detail and he was ready to get right to work.
After seeing the work he had done, I had never seen the interior so clean before — it was like stepping into a brand new vehicle! I couldn’t believe how much glitter and dirt was lifted from my seats (and how disgusting it was, sorry Andrew!) but this man is amazing and knows what he’s doing!

Andrew is a consummate professional and artist. I had damaged the clear coat of my BMW while cleaning sap off of it. I left ugly swirls and scratch marks all over the hood and side of the car. I described the problem to Andrew and he recommended the buff and seal. He did a great job making my car smooth and shiny again. I was very impressed with the results.
Afterwards, he sent me a link documenting his work (
), which shows how bad a shape my car was in and how much Andrew was able to improve it. You can see that after his first attempt at polishing the hood, he’s not satisfied with how it looks. So he goes all out and wetsands the entire hood, with excellent results. I say Andrew is an artist because of his obsessive attention to detail and his genuine desire to make cars as beautiful as possible.

. It’s a brand new car fresh off-​the-​boat and the dealer left all kinds of swirl marks by «washing» it. Andrew fixed all the problems. What’s truly remarkable is how customer-​oriented he is. Around the time I got my brand new car I had a business trip and work was pretty hectic in general. He was able to work around my crazy schedule and finish my car before the weekend so I can have fun with it. From now on, whenever I get a new car, I’m going to insist the dealer not touch my car and drive it straight to Auto Salon Works.

My Lexus was taken care of, inside and out. Andrew’s attention to detail certainly exceeds my own as he discovered and addressed areas that needed correction that I hadn’t even noticed! Certainly showroom ready by the time he was done. Thanks!

Took my 1 day old Tesla Model S in for paint correction and Opti Coat. I thought it looked pretty good when I dropped it off, but it was amazing when I got it back. Andrew found lots of flaws with the original paint, corrected the flaws, and spent several days working on the fine details.
The results were outstanding, and I’m definitely taking my car back to him when it needs work again. Highly recommended!

I took my new 2015 Outback 3.6R Limited to Andrew in January 2015 for a Opti Glossy-​Coat protection. Only a week old at the time from the dealer, but it still had various detailing ailments that Andrew fixed. I also had him apply some blackening to the front grill, because all-​chrome just didn’t look very good. Everything turned out great!

I can tell you this place is like no other. I detail my cars annually so this is something I take seriously. I have a 2004 S4 Audi that showed signs of wear on the hood and the roof, and just loss of shine. I took it to Andrew and he took care of my car and make it look new. I was contemplating getting a pain job before I let him take care of it. I won’t need a pain job for many years if any. The car looks great, and I am a customer for life. I brought my brand new 2015 M4 to Andrew for a paint correction and Opti Coat 2.0.
After a local detail shop did a lousy detail job, the car had swirl marks, marring, and even scratches. After Andrew was done it looked better than when I got it from the factory! I’m very fortunate to have found Andrew when I did and glad I brought the car to him before the damage got any worse.
Looking at the before and after pictures speak for themselves. Andrew is a very good at what he does and has a keen eye for it. His attentional to detail is amazing. He’s also very friendly and will give you great tips on maintaining that amazing shine.

I called Andrew to make an appointment to have my headlights restored last week and they look almost as good as new. It took about two hours but was well worth the wait.
Auto Salon Works is a small shop that pays particular attention to details, with that being said the service you’ll get is also friendly and personal. Andrew’s garage is more like an artist’s workshop where he works on cars with surgical precision and care.
I haven’t had a full detail yet since my car doesn’t need it too bad, but as far as his headlight restoration is concerned, it’s top notch.
Bring your car to Andrew, it’ll be well cared for.

We just bought a new 14.5 Grey Accord and had Andrew apply the Opticoat 2.0 product after a thorough prep /​paint correction.
The entire procedure took 2 days and Andrew was very accommodating and flexible with schedule of car drop off and pick up.
The results… Night and Day! We picked up in the evening and under the fluorescent lighting, it looked better than when we rolled off the dealer lot.
The next morning we could see Andrew’s work shine.
All the water spots and such were removed and the paint looks amazing!
Andrew is a stand up guy and delivers.

Much has been written about the easily damaged Tesla paint. I noticed many emerging scratches on my new red MS, and after reading the Tesla Forum, decided that paint correction and Opti Coat is the answer. After much research, I took my pride and joy to Andrew at Auto Salon Works in Belmont. Andrew did an amazing job with the paint correction, which removed all the scratches, and Opti Coat. The finish looks flawless and gleams. Andrew is a terrific craftsman, and paid methodical attention to detail. The result is stunning.

If I had it to do over again, I would pick the car up at the factory, request that Tesla not wash it, and bring directly to Andrew. This will ensure the awesome result at lowest cost (ie, do not need to fix the scratches Tesla causes during their detailing process).
Andrew is very fair and easy to work with, and you can have 100% confidence in his superb work.

Wow. The results speak for themselves: my car looks brand new! Andrew does really fantastic work — the paint correction work that he did on my 7-​year old porsche was worth every penny. Not a swirly remains! Plus there are the extras. In my case, Andrew wasn’t satisfied after the initial day of work on my car (although it looked pretty darn good to me) so he performed another day of work on it without additional charge! Talk about attention to detail and high standards! He also gave me a ton of good pointers on car cleaning techniques and products, dropped me off back at my house after I dropped my car off at his shop and drove to my house to do the initial inspection of my car (I live close to Andrew).

Andrew comes highly recommended in the Bay Area, and for good reason.
I brought my 1.5 year old FR-​S in to remove a few minor scratches, two deeper/​longer scratches and general paint correction. He examined the car thoroughly and explained very clearly how he would approach the work and cost, asking me questions along the way to tailor his services directly to my liking.
Andrew’s work speaks for itself, the car looks impeccable. He went above and beyond to correct issues I had forgotten as well as mistakes leftover from a previous detailer. He even left me with a few pointers on how to maintain the showroom look.
Needless to say, I will be a repeat customer and send friends his way.

Before I decided on going to Andrew for my Opticoat, I researched different vendors around the area and no-​one came close to Andrew’s customer service. He answered every single question I had and made me feel extremely confident that he was the right man for the job.
I dropped off my 2013 Satin White Pearl WRX on a Friday morning and picked it up the next day around 5.
He opened up the garage and gave me a brief tour of my car. All my swirl marks were gone and my car was as smooth as glass. In fact, it was SHINER than when I first bought it! My wheels were opticoated as well.

I recently took my Subi BRZ to Andrew at (ASW) for from detailing prep work prior to installing my clear bra and tint work, and then took it back to Andrew to apply Opti-​Coat. My car was about 3 weeks old and had some dirt and grime, but Andrew cleaned it up really nicely. The car look and feels amazing. I can’t wait until the curing process is done and do the water test for the Opti-​Coat.
Andrew doesn’t have a shop and does the detailing at his house or your house depending on your preference. At first, I was hesitant but after reading great reviews of Andrew’s work on the FT86 forum, I decided to go with Andrew. There’s not a lot of people in the Bay Area that does Opti-​Coat. Just want reassure skeptics out there Andrew is legit and takes great pride in his work. He is meticulous and pays attention to detail, and the results really show. Andrew’s work was so good I decided to refer a friend from the BRZ forum to have the same work done. My girlfriend’s dad recently bought an Infiniti G37, and we’ll likely take it to Andrew for detailing and Opti-​Coat.
