We recently had our car totalled out after an accident and needed to find a reliable vehicle fast fast fast. We scoured the bay area craiglist and found many sellers trying to pawn off their rickety rides. Very frustrating! We finally decided to try the local dealers down the El camino in Belmont San Mateo area we had past this location many times and thought theres no way this could be any good we were so wrong. All Vehicles have a suggested retail sales price no surprises the inventory had a price point for all. We met Dave the salesman owner who was very friendly and not pushy just a genuine personality which we appreciated very much … We found a beautiful Mazda very clean and were able to negotiate a small discount to boot. If your in need of a vehicle give this place a try!

Sold my car to Brand Motors. I was offered more money compared to other places I went to. Also, selling the car to them was very quick and easy. Very friendly and respectful people. I would of bought my new car from them if I went to them first.

This place is the worst! There’s no parking the sales person or owner is very unpleasant. I wouldn’t buy a car from them, the man there was so rude! I would rate it if I could minus star. I got out of my car to speak with the sales person who came out, who I showed the Camry I wanted to see in his lot. He wasn’t in the mood to show me the car he told me to park my car behind the Honda on the street. Where I would be ticketed because there was no parking behind the Honda on El Camino the open space was for the city bus stop! It wasn’t like anyone would be inconvenience where I pulled in for a few minutes. He was rude didn’t care that I was interested in purchasing a car. He also took a long time to come out to offer any services. He made me feel like I was bothering him and he wanted me to park illegally in the bus stop! I’m sorry I wasted my gas to drive from San Jose to Belmont all for that man to treat me like that. Very annoyed

So happy to go home today with my 2007 BMW X3 3.0si with M-​package from Brand Motors! The guys at Brand Motors, David, Elvis and Shawn (and 1 gal, Sheila) are friendly, decent, and knowledgeable. David is a true pro, being in the car business since his teens when his dad owned the place. Elvis threw in a cargo compartment cover just because he promised. I’ll go there again next time I need a car.

Stopped in to look at a truck and went to Provident credit union and in about 1 hour drove the new truck home. Great people to deal with even got a discount. Nice family business. I will be going back for a little car for my Dad.

David purchased my Prius $ 500 more than the other dealerships! Nice guy and quick and transaction.

I moved to north cal and had to get a car. In search of a vehicle I ended up purchasing Benz e320 from them. Usually don’t leave reviews but these guys were super friendly and their prices are reasonable and affordable. They processed me really fast with no hustle. If I’ll be biting other vehicles I’ll check with them 1^st before going anywhere else.

I recently bought a car from Brand Motors and the process was great. The moment I got onto their lot they were readily available to me for any questions we had. We took a test drive on the car I liked and it was a great ride. I would look to going here first rather than on Craigslist.

If you want to sell you car to a dealer that is quick and trustworthy, go to Brand Motors. I was getting so frustrated and stressed out when trying to sell my car on my own and one day just stopped into Brand Motors and we sold it right then and there. It was refreshingly easy. No stress. No hassle. Nothing. Once I got there, I worked with Dave and he was awesome. He thoroughly checked out my truck for any issues and asked me what I was looking for. He knows his vehicles and the business in and out. His offer on my truck was a very fair offer. He didn’t low ball me or anything. It was such a relief. Everyone I worked with thus far wanted everything for nothing. But Brand Motors was great.
We stepped into the office and literally 10 minutes later, I gave him my pink slip and he gave me a reliable Wells Fargo check. Done. Easy. If I ever need to sell my car again, Brand Motors it is.

The 2 sales guys that were there did not seem very interested in making a sale. We had to approach them after a few minutes of us walking around, waiting to see if they would make the first move. When we asked for the key to a specific car, the guy looked at us kind of crazy like he’d never heard such a request.
They don’t provide the actual financing. They send you over to Provident Credit Union down a few blocks if your credit score is above 650, where you won’t need a down payment, so they said. If your score is less than 650, they finance with someone else who would require a high down payment and high interest rate. Oh and if you do get approved for a loan by Provident, you have to open up/​have a checking/​savings account with them.
Their cars are reasonably priced, thus my 2 stars.
Didn’t end up getting the car we wanted cuz apparently there’s more to it than having a decent credit score!

Bought a car here and after a hundred miles the check engine light came on from an emissions problem. I’m pretty sure they had cleared the code before they sold it but I was stupid and forgot to check for pending codes before I bought it. If you buy a car from these guys be sure to check for codes before buying.

Bought a 2002 Honda Accord with 71,000 miles in November and roughly 900 miles later the transmission broke down and I had to replace it. I don’t know much about cars and by no means drive crazy or fast. Asked the mechanic if it could be fixed rather than replaced and he tried to fix it but found out after opening it up that it was beyond repair as the actual hard parts were damaged. Anyway not a good experience for me at least.

I highly recommend this dealership. Guys there are really friendly and are always happy to help.

I had a great car buying experience here. I purchased a 2005 Acura TSX here last month. After being satisfied with the test drive I took it to the Meineke up the street to run a full diagnostic. According to them they have a 90 point check list. It turns out that the car was in great condition. The attendant at the front desk wanted to know if the engine had been pressure hosed, it was that clean under the hood. The tires checked out to have 90% thread life left and the break pads were basically new. The only fault they could find were 1) Air filter needed to be changed, 2) The rear engine mount was slightly loose and shoud be taken care. They took me in the shop area and showed me. 3) I also told them I had noticed a vibration in the steering around 50 mph. I was told that the most common fix for this was balancing of the tires.
Negotiations were short and straight forward. I was already told by the manager that their prices were already competitive and that there was little room for negotiation. But of course no one goes to a car dealership and pays sticker price, right? But I had already completed my homework before coming in. There was no other car of that make, model, and year for sale in a 250 mile radius at that price, much less in that condition and mileage. I think I paid 200 hundred less the asking price. I got a great deal.
I covered the sale half cash and half check. I had just transferred the money into the checking account of a local credit union that very morning so I post dated the check by a day (I rarely pay by check). I was confident the check would clear the next day but I wanted to give myself the extra day so I told them to cash it in two days. I actually called the very next day to let them know the funds were available. He was very nice about everything and didn’t give me a hard time about it. I even left the vehicle I drove there with until the weekend when I could come back with a friend and retrieve it.
To reitirate I had a great car buying experience and would definitely recommend this small dealership.

I arrived before 9:30 AM (before they opened) to look at the vehicle before any salespeople would be there to hassle me. I was already disappointed. The vehicle looked like it had been in a crash and the underbelly had oil and a substantial amount of rust on it.
As if that were not bad enough, there were dents, scratches, and as previously mentioned, the doors did not line up right which to me meant that it was in an accident. To add salt to the wound, the salesman came to meet me and was dressed unprofessionally, which does not really matter, however, on top of that the car would not start. Claimed to be a battery issue. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for him to bring out the starter, which did not work. So he went back and got jumper cables (the vehicle I looked at was a 02 Mountaineer that did not even have the hood pole so we had to hold it up) after hooking up the cables the salesman locked the keys inside the Mountaineer. He looked for a spare and did not have any, I left without even being able to start the vehicle.
Before leaving, we went back into the office and the owner of Brand Motors was in there eating breakfast. He did not greet me, speak to me, or acknowledge my presence until he was finished with his meal. Highly disrespectful and unprofessional.
Overall I was highly disappointed, would not recommend Brand Motors and I will not be going back. Going here was a total waste of time. I don’t know how they have so many reviews. Maybe they post them themselves. I will say this, though, I was not hounded by the salespeople or pressured into purchasing anything, which was nice.

Recently bought 2006 Volvo from Brand Motors through their finance. They approved me within minutes and got me on wheels shortly after. It was best experience I ever had so far compare to other dealerships. They are really friendly, have affordable prices, and lots of different car to choose from. If I knew about this please earlier I wouldn’t waste my time at other dealerships. Now I know where to go when I’m getting another car!

Believe or not, but I received on Brand motors $ 1000 more for trade in my Jetta, then I could get on Craigslist! Drove out with a wonderful BMW, with a great price. I was happy to do business with these guys and recommend them to anybody!
