Marriage counseling: If you and your spouse were happy once and now you aren’t, you probably aren’t meeting each other’s emotional needs. When you first got married, you were good friends, and both of your needs were met. You talked a lot, did things together, and your sex life was good. Then, when stressors hit like work, illness, or financial problems, you probably stopped paying as much attention to each other, and started taking each other for granted. Instead of meeting each other’s needs, you argued and fought about them instead. There are 10 basic emotional needs that most marriages require. Women’s needs differ from men’s. We will help you to identify your most important needs, and and help you talk openly and honestly about them, so you can start over as a couple, and walk out of your past. We will provide you with new 1) awareness, 2) tools, and 3) skills, so you can slow down, stop reacting and start reflecting. We will show you the difference between «topics» where you argue and fight, and «issues,» where you really understand each other’s point of view, and can resolve your problems. All of this will help you to restore the respect, communication, cooperation, trust, and intimacy that you and your relationship deserve. Let us guide and support you in this process. The work is challenging, but very rewarding. You can start over!

History

Established in 1997.

Coaching for Couples was established in 1997 by Douglas and Olivia Rosestone. Trained in archetypal psychology by a PHD psychologist, we specialize in an array of tools that we have developed over the years to help couples face into their most difficult issues, and start over in their marriages. Everything we teach our couples, we ourselves practice every day in our marriage. We have been together for 35 years, have three children, and are happily married.
