Digital Silver Imaging provides custom fine art printing and framing services for discerning artists and photographers. Our exclusive service is printing true Black & White silver gelatin prints directly from you digital files or scanned prints. We are also a Hahnemühle Certified Print Studio that produce museum quality color inkjet photographic prints.
Our other services include professional film processing, scanning and digital retouching services, art reproduction. We can mount prints to a variety of materials and offer a wide variety of frames at affordable prices.
History
Established in 2008.
Inspired to bring digital printing on real black & white photo paper to the public, founder Eric Luden opened the doors of Digital Silver Imaging in 2008. Although the country was undergoing the worst recession in decades Eric made DSI into the lab it is today by maintaining excellence in fine art black & white photographic printing. Pioneering the direct black & white digital print process in New England, Digital Silver Imaging has continued to innovate. Digital Silver Imaging started producing museum quality color prints in 2010 and was recognized for excellence in 2014 as a Hahnemühle Certified Studio.
Digital Silver Imaging has worked with photographers around the world, and has produced exhibitions for many of art and industries top photographers as well as photo enthusiasts.
Digital Silver Imaging provides gallery space for The Griffin Museum of Photography and DSI owner, Eric Luden, is on their Board of Directors.

Business Owner
Digital Silver Imaging was founded by Eric Luden, a former Ilford executive. Eric’s passion for photography started in college and has continued to this day. After graduating from Boston College Eric worked in the retail photo industry and as a commercial and fine art photographer. In the 1990s he served as a consultant to Eastman Kodak’s black & white division. His work at Kodak completed, he joined Ilford Photo were he worked for the next 12 years. During his time at Ilford he gained a profound knowledge of photographic processes, photography labs and the needs of the photographic community. When he finally left Ilford, he was VP of Marketing for Ilford’s parent company HARMAN Technology.
