We had do a psych eval for our dyslexic son. Other therapists wanted $ 3200 to $ 5500. Dr. Tan takes Anthem Blue Cross PPO. It cost us only the co-​pay (which is $ 15 for us). We met on a Sat and got it done in one day. He was very professional and turned around the eval quickly. I definitely recommend him for Anthem Blue Cross PPO customers.

A friend of mine recommended that I go take my close friend to see Dr.
Tan for a neuropsychological evaluation. What was that? Anyway, we
went there because he had suffered a stroke to the right side of his
brain and starting showing weird signs like impulsivity, anger,
excessive talking… etc… We didn’t know what to make of it and we were
spooked out especially his own family. He had never done stuff like
this before the stroke. Dr. Tan patiently described to us the changes
associated with stroke and made us understand that his behavior was
not deliberate. It is way too easy to misunderstand what illnesses
such as these can do to friends and families. A knowledgeable
clinician is so invaluable to provide insight to people like us.
Without any reservation, I would recommend Dr. Tan if you are seeking
an excellent neuropsychologist in the Bay Area.

I really need to share the great interaction I had with Dr. Tan. I
came in for an evaluation looking into my son’s issues with attention
and learning problems in school. We both had a good deal of
trepidation coming into to this situation. We didn’t know what to
expect and never even heard of a neuropsychological evaluation.
Immediately, Dr. Tan put our mind at ease by taking the time out to
explain the nature of the evaluation. My son, who is rather shy,
easily took to Dr. Tan and his friendly demeanor and that’s saying a
lot. He is slow to warm to people and I am certain that was a plus in
getting the best performance out of him. Good thing is that through
the testing we realized he has difficulties academically and
documentation allowed us to get him accommodations in his classes and
on exams. Thanks to Dr. Tan, my son is now performing at his best… we
are all grateful.
