Terra Firma is my «go to» store. Both thumbs up! They have the best variety of jewelry and gift items at reasonable prices. AND, they just added a natural line of make-up and skincare that they taught me how to apply. I use it daily and feel great about the way I look. The owner and her sister are knowledgeable about their products, helpful and patient and I love shopping there. It’s such a pleasure to support an independently-owned, local shop. Rhonda R.

I came in looking for earrings and found a terrific variety here. Reasonable prices(they have a range from inexpensive to $$). The saleswoman was super helpful but not pushy. I will be back soon for their beautiful and unusual gift items and jewelry selection. I might also try out the line of makeup they have…

I WILLNEVERBUYANOTHERTHINGFROMHERE! ANTI– CHILD I have never found the woman behind the counter particularly friendly but when I walked in with my two young children this weekend, the worker launches in from across the store in front of the two other patrons that a child broke something in the store recently. Huh? She then proceeded to talk to the customer she was helping about the danger of having children in the store. Apparently she was suggesting we were not welcome in the store? Or my «unruly» children should be leashed before entering the store? It was truly bizarre and if I cared, it would have been a bit embarrassing. I am a stickler on customer service. This place would have gotten 2 stars from me before based on that but now I would give it zero if possible. A truly unpleasant experience for a busy(and strict) mother trying to buy a nice gift for a friend.

My sister and I were walking around Leonard Street and saw this store. Since she was looking for a gift, this seemed to be the perfect place. The woman working there was really nice and did not seem to mind that I had a stroller with me. Although she was helping someone else, she tried to give us attention when she was free. We left and came back when she was not occupied. My sister bought a lovely necklace with a pink pendant and I succumbed to temptation and purchased an Alex and Ani bracelet. Prices were reasonable and she even gift wrapped the necklace. All in all, we had a great experience and I think I will make it back to add more bracelets to my growing collection!

I can’t believe I haven’t been into this store until today. From the outside it looks like nothing special(just another jewelry store), but inside the service is good and the merchandise is impressive. There is a nice selection of gifts, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc. The style is are artsy, but not inaccessible. There’s enough variety to buy something for your grandma and a fashion-forward teenager in the same store. I was sad to hear that they have a 14d exchange/store credit policy, no returns. I want to try a necklace there with an outfit but there’s no easy way to do so.

I love this place — the stuff they have to the way it is set up. My mom would take me here with each child that I had and she would buy me jewelry(earrings and a necklace) to celebrate the births and to remember her when she is gone. Well, I have several unique pieces from here with such good memories(yes, she is gone now). Maybe it is those memories or just the great artisan pieces they have that keep me coming back, but I think this place is a «hidden gem».

Much to admire and prices for every wallet. I admired items for $ 12, $ 38 and over $ 100. Real and costume jewelry abounds along with other assorted items. A very cute shop and if I had gobs of money to spend, I woulda.

Terra Firma is nice little jewelry and gift store with artisan leanings in Belmont Center. Knowing their clientele in Belmont Center none of what they carry is over the top or particularly striking or unusual. They carry many more pins and brooches than most artsy jewelry stores and have a lot of glass jewelry pieces. They do not carry many pieces under $ 50 and I would bet their average sale is in the $ 150 to $ 200 range. The staff is very nice and they do gift wrap your purchases.

This is where I come when I want to treat myself to a little pick me up giftey. terra firma is a unique jewelry and gift store in the heart of Belmont Center. The jewelry is distinctive and unusual. You’re not going to find boring bracelets or necklaces here. Everything is eye catching and different with a modern feel. I also noticed some beautiful glass paperweights and a stash of small«secret boxes» with intricate inlays made of many types of woods. I know they have other non-jewelry items, but I didn’t really notice what else was on display, I was too busy admiring the multicolored glass earrings and the necklace with the hammered silver rectangles!
