History

Established in 2002.

In 2002 the founder, Christina Paquette, have decided to start her own practice. After working with another association and being a teaching assistant at the Muscular Therapy Institute (now Cortiva Institute) Christina wanted to apply her extensive knowledge and skills. The office opened at a convenient location at Watertown Square.

In August of 2013 the office moved to 1 Trapelo Rd, in Belmont where it was completely revamped and an additional treatment room was available. The new location is right on the Watertown — Belmont line. We are currently in the process of expanding the practice and addiing therapists to better take care of our clients.

Business Owner

Christina Paquette, the founder of Watertown Massage Therapy, is a graduate of The Muscular Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA.

Christina spent 5 years assisting at Cortiva Institute in teaching various massage modalities including neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release and other various techniques involved with muscular therapy. From the time she was a small child, Christina has had a desire to help others to feel better and to alleviate their pain. This naturally led to an interest in massage therapy. She successfully completed an intensive two year program in massage which involved extensive study of muscular therapy, anatomy and physiology, pathology, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, therapeutic relationships, practice development, and sports massage.
