I’ve always received friendly, efficient service from everyone I’ve ever dealt with at this All State office. In fact, my experience with the Carroll Agency was so good that when I moved to CA I sought out an All State Agent. They have the best rates around. I have referred both friends and family to The Carroll Agency, and they have always been able to save money. They have also been very happy with the level of service that they received at the office. In 2011, I purchased a 1 year home insurance policy with the John Carroll insurance agency(Allstate) in Beloit. The process was easy and I was fairly well satisfied. I thought the prices were a little on the high side, but I was supporting a local business. Despite several attempts of me contacting this company to update my mailing address, they could never figure it out and sent my mail and statements to the wrong address. At the end of that year, I decided to go with a difference insurance company. I called in to inform this business that I was going with another insurance company, but I would like to pay for 1 last month of coverage and paid for for it immediately on the phone via my credit card. Several months later, I got a bill for yet another month of insurance coverage! I called and left a message with the agency informing them I purchased other coverage, didn’t want their coverage, and to please cancel whatever balance they thought I owed. I left my name and phone number to call back if they had any questions. I never got a phone call. Instead, they sent me to collections! Now I have the hassle of dealing with a collections agency — thank you(not) John Carroll Insurance Agency! This company has violated my trust and I highly recommend you stay away from the John Carroll insurance agency. Buy your insurance from somebody who actually cares about your business.
