Description

Specialties

Providing quality child care and early education experiences for infants, toddlers and preschool age children.

History

Established in 1978.

The well known Children’s Center of San Lorenzo Valley was transformed into the Highlands Park Child Development Center in July of 2013.

Built 35 years ago, the center was designed to be a child development center. After changing ownership over the years, the center merged with Community Bridges in July, a Santa Cruz nonprofit dedicated to family programs.

Under Community Bridges Child Development Division, the center received upgrades that included curtains, new flooring as well as restructuring the education program at the center.

The center focuses on three areas: infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
