Meet the Business Owner

Martin M.

Business Owner

Martin Mills is a California licensed Civil Engineer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University, and has a Certificate of Proficiency in Drafting Technology from Cabrillo College. After seven years working full time as an Associate Engineer, preparing civil and structural plans and calculations, he founded Mills Young Engineering.

An additional 15 years of prior experience in building construction and facilities maintenance provide a beneficial perspective to projects. A commitment to efficient, cost effective, and ‘green’ building methods are reflected in his designs. Martin’s attention to detail, professional level skill in AutoCAD, combined with his broad engineering experience and working knowledge of construction, provide a solid, well-​rounded approach to all projects.
