Dr. Danny Thomas earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed an internship at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas and Dermatology residency at UTMB Galveston.

Dr. Thomas is a member of the AMA, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatological Society and the Dallas/​Fort Worth Dermatological Society. He has held office in the Texas Dermatology Society and the DFW Dermatology Society and was named case presenter of the year in 2012 by the DFW Dermatology Society.

Dr. Thomas was born in Fort Worth and except for his medical training has been a resident of Tarrant County his whole life. Dr. Thomas has a clinical interest medical dermatology and skin cancer detection and treatment.
