I went shopping tonight under the new ownership and not only could they not ring up my items correctly but they could not even process a prepaid Visa card. They had to call the manager in for help and they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Then they locked the door and locked several people in the exit. It is pretty much inadequate service and they need help under the new ownership. I have alwaysbeen a big fan of Albertson’s. I hope they can get it together.

I shop here every time I’m in bend simply because the employees are always so friendly! They treat you like family and some of them remember me every time I come in and great you with a friendly welcome. I’m amazed with what great memories some of them have cause I only come to bend about fifteen times in a year yet they remeber the short conversations we had the last time I was in the check stand buying a couple groceries.

While my husband waited patiently in the car, I went into Albertsons and did a beer tasting. The store has everything you’d expect, was clean, well organized, and had short lines with nice clerks. There were no particular products that made it different from any other grocery store… extra star for the beer!

These stars are for the DONUTS. Yep. That’s all, just donuts. Well… the sandwich rolls from the bakery are ridiculous too… but those chocolate raised donuts beat any donut in town! WHY do they have to be so yummy?
