History

Established in 2014.

Michael Martin is an experienced career bicycle mechanic with over 30 years in the bicycle industry. His GoTo Bike Guy, mobile bicycle repair business was established to fill the need for trusted, quality, and competitively priced onsite bicycle maintenance in the Sunriver, Bend, Lapine and Central Oregon area which also allows Michael the time to continue his community service work as co-​founder, teacher and shop manager of the Bicycle Re-​source of Bend.

Over three decades of Bicycle Mechanic experience, including complete «Pro» builds and wheel building. Wheel building teacher and past team mechanic at racing events. Co-​founder of Bend’s only successful donation based bicycle repair and re-​use /​recycle non-​profit organization, currently working with over 50 Central Oregon community resource advocates.

Has also owned a bike shop, and is owner of the GoTo Bike Guy, mobile bicycle repair service in and around the Sunriver /​Bend Central Oregon area. … also offering an online presence to accommodate wheel building tutorials and to promote bicycle part art.

Specialties: Vacation property and rental bicycle fleet repairs. Wheel building and all around bicycle repair. References available online. Some experience in trail building and maintenance.

Bike-​Part-​Art using old bicycle parts kept from land fill by turning them into functional furniture, tables, lamps, wind chimes, etc.
