Matthew Truhan’s dedication to healing keeps him focused on listening to his patient’s needs and working closely with them to create a path to health. His passion for Chinese Medicine draws from the holistic view of the medicine, along with the naturalistic ideas of returning the body’s internal environment to harmony and balance. Matthew successfully employs an open thought process of diagnosing strategies and therapeutic techniques, including massage, acupuncture, herbs, and cupping, providing relief to conditions such as muscular/​body pain, stress management, sleep problems, digestive disorders, among others conditions.

History

Established in 2009.

Matthew began as a massage therapist in 2009, completing his massage certification while attending Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He practiced massage, as a therapist on the go, through the completion of his Master’s in Oriental Medicine in 2012, receiving his Acupuncture License from the California Acupuncture Board in 2013. In 2014 he became accredited by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and received his license for Acupuncture from the Oregon Medical Board.
