Who says your contractor can’t show up on time? Our team will not only be on-​site when we say we will, we’ll finish our work on schedule. After the job is complete, you can expect prompt follow-​up to any question or concern. Down the road, our computerized record system will remind us to contact you when your floor is ready for a check up or a maintenance topcoat.

History

Established in 2000.

Scott and Leslie Cheney launched Prestige Hardwood Flooring, Inc. in the new millennium. The company opened for business on January 1, 2000, sitting solidly on the foundation of Scott’s decade of experience in hardwood flooring and Leslie’s decade of experience in accounting/​business operations. Another ten years, (plus, over 1,000 of gorgeous floors later), Prestige sits even more solidly on a reputation as a respected local family business.

Business Owner

Scott first began working with hardwood flooring in 1990. Despite the fact that Prestige grew to employ ten additional craftsmen, Scott continued to work on much of the flooring himself. «No job is too small or too big,» he says. Clients appreciate Scott’s easy-​going demeanor, responsiveness, patience, and eye for design. «I like to help people through the decision making process.» he says. «If clients aren’t sure what they want, I’d rather wait and have them be pleased with their decision.» Scott is licensed in Oregon and Washington and has successfuly completed National Wood Flooring Association’s (NWFA) professional training. Since 2003, in his spare time, Scott has volunteered as a coach for Bend North Little League and Bend Parks and Recreation District’s youth basketball and soccer programs. Leslie manages all financial matters and handles the company’s marketing and graphic designs. The Cheney’s have been married since 1991 and have two remarkable sons.
