History

Established in 2014.

In 2010, Manya founded JuiceWell, a company offering organic pressed juice remedies and organic vegan + gluten free food.

In 2014, she sold JuiceWell and moved to Bend, Oregon to be closer to family and nature. She launched Juice Counter in 2015, with a passion to educate, empower, inspire and support others to understand and accept themselves, to feel good in their bodies, and get their mojo back.

Business Owner

Manya discovered the power of detoxifying with whole foods and juice cleanses more than a decade ago. After spending five fast-​paced years in New York City as a documentary film editor with 16-​hour days and grueling deadlines as the norm, she finally hit a health breaking point. Though only in her early 30s, Manya felt burnt out, exhausted, and deprived of her natural vitality, creativity and joy. The advice of an honest friend prompted her to try a five-​day juice cleanse, and the results were impossible to deny. She felt lighter, more balanced, and gratefully revitalized. The experience put Manya on a new career trajectory exploring the modern and ancient connections between food and health. For the next seven years, she immersed herself in studying the Raw Food Diet, Healing with Whole Foods, Cellular Detox, Green Herbal Medicine and Ayurveda. She received her certification as a Holistic Health Coach, and trained and worked under some of the top chefs and wellness gurus in New York.
