The Reptile Zone is the largest, most respected reptile pet store in Oregon, east of the Cascades. The pets, products and animal food we sell is the highest quality, and that makes a big difference in the length and quality of life your beloved snakes, lizards, tortoises and other «herptile» friends will enjoy. We believe that ethical practices matter, so we only sell captive-​bred, healthy and happy animals, and we operate under permitting from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

We sell everything pertaining to keeping reptiles. We deal with only captive born and bred reptiles. We do birthdays, school shows and many other events. We are central Oregon’s only and Oregon’s 2^nd oldest all reptile pet store.

History

Established in 2008.

The Reptile Zone was started in January 2008 with the purpose of meeting the needs of central Oregon’s Reptile owners. The store specializes in educating the public about reptiles and care. With 49 years of reptile and animal experience including working at a zoo and teaching biology, I bring a bit more to the store than other places.

Business Owner

Owner, Jeff Jensen, has decades of experience with reptiles and wildlife and is a trusted adviser to the High Desert Museum, High Desert Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, and several other respected organizations. There’s really only one Bend Oregon reptile pet store you can count on to provide, not only the best animals and products, but expert advice and support whenever you need it: The Reptile Zone.

Jeff has taught biology for over 12 years and worked at the San Antonio zoo. Jeff has also worked with primates and raptors and has 49 years of experience specifically working with Reptiles.
