History

Established in 2005.

It’s rare that someone finds their passion at such a young age and follows it dogmatically, unwilling to be diverted by adolescent whims. But just like her images, Wahoo Director, Michelle Alvarado, stayed focused. She got accepted at the USC Cinema and eventually landed a job at National Geographic/​Sony, Monterey Bay Aquarium, BBC, and became a media teacher. Ten years later, she started up Wahoo Films to produce inspiring videos that encourage people to take action, to make a purchase or donate to a non-​profit. Michelle’s genuine passion for her clients is evident in the videos she produces for them.
