History

Established in 1984.

Almost 30 years ago, Scott O’Neill saw the potential for growth and the need for high-​quality hot tub service and repair in the booming Central Oregon Area. When he and his then partner started «Water Works Spas», the primary goal was to provide the resort town of Sunriver, Oregon with reliable monthly maintenance options for the many owners who’s rental-​homes had hot tubs. It turns out that there was demand for such services, and before long «Water Works Spas» had a burgeoning clientele in Sunriver. After 28 years, we now service close to 1000 private and rental home spas, not just in Sunriver, but throughout the greater Central Oregon area! With our growth has come an increase in hew hot tub sales as well. We have installed many hundreds of new spas in the area over the years, many of them custom installs, and we continue to offer some of the most competitive rates on name-​brand spas anywhere! Ours is a history of hard work and family-​owned values that endures to this day.

Business Owner

Scott is a warm-​hearted and hard-​working father of two grown boys, a dedicated husband, and a small-​business owner who is proud of his modest achievements. Coming from quite a large Irish-​Catholic family, he grew up in San Francisco and Santa Clara, California and moved to Central Oregon in the early 70’s. With a solid family background, and a natural kindness to his ways, he adopts a business model that centers around honesty and low-​pressure operations over aggressive and misleading sensationalism. Scott tries his best to offer his employees a comfortable and open workplace, and is always more likely to talk things over and get both sides before making angry assumptions or pointing-​the-​finger. Customer service and a friendly business atmosphere are the cornerstones of his work philosophy, and accurate, up-​to-​date knowledge of all aspects of the hot-​tub industry is what he strives to pass on to those who would ask.
