Really really good shave ice! I think they use the same machine as they do at my favorite place in Irvine [Sticky Fingers], the legit Hawaiian ones! Only thing is, At SoS they dont pack down the shave ice with a cone like at SF… When you pack down the ice it makes it easier to lay on the syrup!!! I hope they learn to do that soon! Also, my fave spot to get chocolate malt balls! On a warm day, it’s nice to walk up and down the pier with the palm trees and the water, and the doggies, and boats, favorite little hidden gem of the North Bay !

The owner doesn’t make her own syrups but has chosen the best tasting flavors from several vendors. She said the local Hawaiians come to her place. It’s easy to understand why.

This is the best candy store I’ve been to, and also one of the best out there, by far! The candy is delicious and fresh, the variety is wide, and the employees are the nicest I’ve ever seen. I’ve been here a few times and the service is the best. Every time I walk through the door, I am greeted with a warm, friendly Hello! One of my best experiences here was when I was a bit short on money to pay for my candy. The lady working there gave me some candy for free! If I could, I would definitely work here for free.

This place is so cute and filled with lots of sugary goodness! The lady that was working the day I went was sooooo sweet! *Pun* Sweet girl in a Sweet shop… ha!
There are gummy stuff, taffy, stuff you would find at See’s, drinks, shaved ice (which I got for free with my Unilocal check-​in, oh yea!), and just a lot of different goodies for everyone!
I think Benicia is so pretty and this little store is just so perfect for Benicia!

I need to stay away from this place! When I step in the door I revert back to adolescence and turn into an uncontrollable candy fiend! They have it all and it is soo much fun picking out your bag of candy. A great place to hang out if you’re feeling depressed and want to put a smile back on your face with a sugar fix!

I discovered this cute little candy shop the last time I went to the dentist. They’re located right across the street. So after my dentist tells me I have no cavities, I make my way across the street and buy a bag of candies to celebrate! Don’t act like you wouldn’t!
I love this little candy shop. I just finished a bag about five minutes ago. Their Strawberry Sour Belts are fresh and so are their Sour Cherry Cola gummies. You could taste the freshness of them! Nothing like what the ones that have been sitting out in The Sweet Factory taste like!
They offer cute retro candy in cute jar fulls of gummies, chocolates and other sweets. They also have truffles and other sweets.
One of the places I will miss when I move across the country. Spoonful of Sugar, I’ll be back soon!

Clearly Willy Wonka is alive and well and hiding out in Benicia. Besides the walk down my childhood memory lane, this place has an awesome assortment of sugar-​free candy that keeps me from going into diabetic shock when ever the «dark side of the force» compels me to enter this den of delight. You cannot walk down First Street to the pier without stopping here. Well worth any risk to your wallet.

This is a quaint little candy shop located in downtown Benicia across from Kinders, near Christina S and Chill. They used to be located in the Tannery Building.
I resisted the urge to go in during my power walk for lunch. «If they have sour belts, it’s over for me.» I told myself. Sure enough, they had it. So I bought a bag as well as Pop Rocks for my kiddos.
It’s nice to see a variety of candy in there that brings an air of nostalgia. Razzles and Bottle Caps, Ice Cubes and chocolate covered gummy bears. I’m glad I didn’t have my kids with me when I went in, I would’ve came out of here with half the shop.

Found this place while taking a walk with my son and mom downtown. I love candy especially those that I fondly remember devouring and hiding from my mom as a child. This cute little shop has them all even my favorite cinnamon bears! I got so much candy and it only came to maybe $ 5 or so. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My son loves the webkinz and the music playing in the store. We will definitely make it a point to stop by when we’re hanging out in Benecia!

Holy Crap! This little hole in the wall is great. All the cheap candy you loved as a kid and some I’ve never seen before! Ahhhh, remember those little colored sugar blots on paper? And the after effects? That’s what I’m talking about.
