Steve has been my State Farm agent for a couple of years now, and he has been the best insurance agent I have ever had. He was super helpful and responsive when I filed a claim after my truck got clobbered by a drunk driver. Steve and his office staff are always there when I need them, and they never treat me like just another policy number. If you need insurance help in the Benicia area, I would definitely recommend giving Steve a call

I have been a customer of State Farm/​Steve Mclure for 8 years. We recently purchased a car for our teenage son. I was completely impressed on the timely service we received adding the vehicle to our policy. I sent a text message with the vehicle VIN # and in less than an hour received our temporary insurance card by email. It’s good to know there is a local agent out there that exceeds my customer service expectations. I will continue to recommend him to all my friends and family!

I have had Steve as my agent for MANY years. How long, I have forgotten. The areas he controls he gives 100%. When I had to deal with auto claims and had a problem, he called and had them get moving and fix the problem. His staff are great too. He has never been pushy or tried to sell me more than I have asked for. I can not give his office higher rating than 5 or I would.

My # 1 requirement when I moved my insurance to Steve from another agent was, «do not contact me to sell me more insurance and do not send me cards for every Hallmark holiday there is».
Steve and his staff have lived up to my requirements and earned my respect. When I call I get immediate help and great advice on what direction to go.
I have never received a single solicitation by mail or phone telling me I need to review my insurance (how unusual is that!). My previous agents did it monthly.
Steve has my insurance for as long as he stays in business.

Hands down, Steve is the best insurance agent that I’ve ever had to deal with. Not only is he helpful, he is very personable and attentive whenever I have a question about one of my policies.
One time I had to call Steve due to a busted water pipe in my home. Thank goodness it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but Steve was accessible when I really needed him. To me, that’s what mattered the most at that moment.
I have my homeowners insurance and my business insurance through him and will soon be having our life insurance through him as well. He was originally referred to me by one of my co-​workers and surprisingly, I’ve found out a that he insures a lot of other people that I know. All of which have had very good things to say about him and have been with him for years.
Highly recommended.

Ok,
So if you have Insurance and nothing happens this place is fine. My vehicle was totaled and I had no collision. When I called my agent she said «Oh unfortunately I can not do anything for you.» All I was looking for was a little guidance. I called back after hours and was helped by the 24 hour staff. The 24 hour staff was much more helpful. So the question is why pay for an agent if they do nothing for you. I have recently switched to Farmers
