History

Established in 1996.

Pizza Time has been locally owned and operated since 1996. Stan and Dina Lakis set out to establish a business where they could provide the community with what they know best, food made with love. With their Greek roots from the Island of Crete, they have grown to understand and appreciate communities that can come together to enjoy each other’s company over good quality food. They established Pizza Time with that concept in mind and have been blessed to have the love and support of the community to become a staple in the town of Bennettsville. At the start of 2016 their son, Manoli, joined the ownership to help grow the restaurant with hopes of spreading the love to other locations. Now with two generations of Lakis’ in the ownership, the family aspect of this family restaurant is even greater. From the Pizza Time family to yours, we hope you not only leave full but fulfilled, and remember that any time is Pizza Time.

My wife and I eat here all the time. It is one of the better places to eat in town. They have the best pizza in Bennettsville. Definitely recommend this place

Awesome place! We tried the fried mushrooms and fried ravioli. The mushrooms were slightly overcooked but still good, but the fried ravioli was awesome! The Italian sub was excellent and the turtle pie and Oreo pie were incredible. Definitely coming back to this place. Great experience and great food.

On our way home from the beach, we were looking for a non — chain option for lunch. Thanks to the trusty Unilocal app, we stumbled upon pizza time. The menu was quite large including many Italian and some greek options. We opted for the lunch special. For $ 7 each, we got a side salad, drink and choice of personal pizza, 6 inch sub or spaghetti and meatballs. Our food did take a bit of time due to the restaurant being half full with only one server. However, our food was great and the price was unbeatable. A great option if you are in the area.

We came in and there were hardly any customers in the restaurant. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and when one of us got the drinks it was only carbonation. It took 10 more minutes to change it because the waitress was flirting with the police sitting at the table beside us. Would not go back. The food was also bad I had spaghetti and it was not good at all!

Good little pizza place, got calzone and pizza, which was pretty good. The service was very good and nice servers, went around lunch time place was pretty packed, always a good sign. The only thing was the tables were clean, watched her clean ours, they are jus permanently sticky. The tables need a new clearcoat. Also have take out.

This restaurant has come along way since it first opened; it has doubled in size! It is one of the few sit-​down restaurants in town that stays open for supper and is open six days a week. The food is great. Ask for the house dressing on salads and subs.

What a wonderful surprise! We stopped on the way to Myrtle Beach coming from Greensboro. The friends we were traveling with knew about this secret place. From the outside appearance and name of the place, you would never stop for a great salad. We are on our way back to Greensboro and have stopped again for the Mediterranean Chicken Salad…7.65…A bargain and not to be missed when traveling thru the area. There are not many good places to eat along the small roads to the beach. :-)
We’re here at lunch time and they are packed. Always a good sign.
