Update: they assumed I had the flu. Didn’t swab me though. Sent me home with an antibiotic. I went to the ER six days later. Hospital said no flu. I had double pneumonia.

I agree with the others here. The doctors are good but the front office staff is terrible. I have been going there for years mostly because it was convenient and rarely needed to go. But when I do call I am on hold for a long time and the staff doesn’t know much.

I hate to agree with others who have posted… and as much as I like some of the doctors &RN’s in this practice, the front desk is absolutely miserable. If on the off chance someone actually answers the phone, you get put on hold for 15+ minutes. I could leave my office or house, drive to and arrive at the doctors office, and still be on hold in that time!!! Unacceptable!!! Furthermore, when no one is in the office, the answering machine does not give office hours, and no one ever calls back! I once called 30 times(30TIMES!!!) in two days, only to get a busy signal or no answer whatsoever. Left a message, but no one called me back. Lack of customer service!

I have been going here for past 8 years due to location convenience, some evening hours and minimal wknd hours. I really like Joanne the PA and the NP(Fran?) and recently Dr. Guten. They were friendly and knowledgable(btw in the past 8 years I have NEVER had an appointment with an MD until Dr. Gutin this year! :O This place is just too busy for you to be treated as more than JUST A NUMBER. As a primary care physician office it takes too long to get an appointment here(I dont know how it can be a Family Practice, seeing families/children because for urgent or semi-urgent matters– that dont warrant an ER visit– you will have to wait days to get an appointment). There is sooooooo much lacking to this OFFICE! MAINLY, the front desk reception staff is extremely rude, dont look like they enjoy their job, does not answer the phone or in the rare event that they do pick up, they put you on hold forever. Many many times throughout the years I have experienced this. I called for TWOWHOLEHOURS one day this week and BUSYSIGNAL. Who does that? with no option to leave a voice message. Not that anyone would return your call in the event you did leave a message. Many times in the past when they dont pick up the phone or a persistent busy signal I have just driven to the office to pick up a prescription or lab results. Which leads me to believe that during office hours when they SHOULD be open, they must be PUTTINGTHEPHONEOFFTHEHOOK! There is no opportunity to leave a voicemail. Even when using the answering system after hours, for urgent matters, the doctor on call does not return calls promptly! UNACCEPTABLE! Unacceptable for a doctor’s office, really. It’s patientcare first and a business second. Both not being done well here. Maybe this has not been brought to the attention of the owner(Dr. Kenneth Morris) and I have not had the time nor inclination to complain for past 8 years but this is getting a bit ridiculous! Prescription authorizations(with insurance companies) are performed only ONCE a week?!! So what do people who are on routine medications do in the meantime??? Really poorly managed office. If I could find a good family physician office in the area with evening and wknd hours I would switch in a heartbeat!
