Torresdale Pediatrics

Never have a problem with this place, rather i book 3 months out, or call 30 in advance. I always get seen with the best care. Staff is friendly and helpful. And the doctors are the best. They pharmacy is right next door, or you can choose one close to where you live. Not sure why so many ppl are saying bad things about this place. Or having negative feedback. But my 6 month old son. And my step kids ages 5 & 10, get great service.

This place stinks. The policies and lack of flexibility leave much to be desired. I would not recommend this establishment and I also feel that they present a level of rigidness regarding paperwork and appointments. They require families to pay a fee for paperwork and medical record transfers…$ 25 per child. They manipulate consumers in a way that makes you not want to transfer from the establishment because it becomes quite cumbersome and costly. I’m sorry but I can’t say that I was happy with the service and I would not recommend, let me add that my kids were there for quite some time as I love Dr. Horowitz. There are a million doctors in the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas… keep looking~

Never have problem getting my son into be seen. Friendly staff and docotors. You can get same day appointments, which is really nice since the last doctor wouldnt. Highly recommend this place.

This Place is Awful!!! I am Paralyzed and every time I take my daughter here (she just turned 1), they never help, EVEN WHEN I ASK!!! This time however was the final straw. My daughter had an appt for her shots. After they were done, I asked if they could look at her finger because she likes to chew on it. The nurse said «No you need to make an appointment» SHE SAID THIS WHILE I WAS ALREADY IN THE ROOM!!! She then proceeded to take me to the check in station where I was told they had an appointment in 40 mins if I wanted to wait. THEN I WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE ANOTHER CO-​PAY!!! Are you kidding me??? I then told them I wanted to switch doctors, they did not care. They said «Ok, heres the paperwork» Then they treated me like i was an idiot because I asked them how to fill out the paperwork (meaning that I didn’t know what forms to fill out fir what records were needed). The office manager then sarcastically asked me «Well, Whats your name? Whats your address??» It the most condensending tone ever. I then asked to speak to the doctor to tell them personally why I would not returning to there office and was told by the office manager «She’s busy, call and leave a message» The staff at this office is horrible. They have been horrible and will continue to be horrible.

I bring my son here whenever I need to, most of the times when I call I get an appointment the same day, and the staff is very attentive, it’s close to my house, the place is clean, the waiting room is neat and clean, I would recommend every parent to take their kid here! And to make things better theres a great pharmacy next door!
