Total Public Adjusting of Bensalem, PA is a licensed public insurance adjusting firm and we represent property owners to their insurance company for damages, mostly from things they had no idea were covered. We basically stop owners from paying out of pocket for home repairs, and our fee for this service is offset because as licensed adjusters, we consistently get our clients far more from their insurance company than going it alone. We offer a property inspection to anyone ready to let us in their home to locate damage. Many times our clients get paid literally thousands of dollars they never knew they were entitled to.

History

Established in 2012.

Total Public Adjusting, Inc. is the result of a 22 year evolution. In 2007, after running a successful traditional home remodeling company for 15 years, Richard Ryan saw the opportunity to delve into the specialized niche of insurance repair after a hailstorm came through his local area. He helped clients get funding, through their insurance carrier for damage caused by hail.

In the next 5 years, the company completed more than 3,500 projects. He and his staff became extremely proficient in understanding policy language, dealing with insurance adjusters, and helping customers get a proper settlement for their damage. Most insurance adjusters they met had no construction knowledge, nor were they familiar with local building codes. Still, many insurance companies will not negotiate with a home improvement contractor — as they are not required to do so.
