R & R Pizza Express

Had this pizza after having a drink and it was good. We ordered wings too… that is where I had to take a star away. The wing sauce was really good but the wings themselves weren’t actually wings. They were cut up pieces of chicken thigh drenched and wing sauce. I wouldn’t call them boneless wings because they’re the thighs… not the wings. So maybe change the name to buffalo thighs so there isn’t a shock when the box is open.

SADLY I have to give 4 stars instead of 5… trust me I wanted to give 5 stars so badly and I tried but it just didn’t work.
I haven’t been to this place in YEARS, since it was by the post office and there was a cool little train in the building. I use to love it! I never lived here but I always compared it to G&F and I always came back to R&R. Well now I’ve had the opportunity to try it again and unfortunately I had really high expectations.

Pizza: Phenomenal! Garlic and cheese and spice and zing. I hate red sauce and their red sauce is incredible. The crust is perfect and flaky. Soooooo gooooood.
I’m being nice. –1 star for
1. Messing up my order. I asked the really nice girl on the phone to please change my breadsticks to cheese sticks for an additional cost and she said yes. When I got them they were garlic knots. Super bummed
2. Boneless Wings. Strangest wings I’ve ever seen but makes sense. BONELESS. Not my problem with the appearance but my problem was with the toughness. No joke it was rough.
That should be –2 stars but I’m really rooting for this place. Also I read all the Unilocal Reviews and the character and integrity of the business owner is incredibly personal with his responses. I took notice to that and that should say something about how he takes notice to his business. Good for him and your pizza is incredible. Also I agree it sucks you’re closed on Sundays for football but awesome for this business to acknowledge a worshiping day.
I will be back over and over. All the way from LB, CA!

First time, went for dinner a couple weeks ago. Had the evening buffet. Really good value. There were several pizzas on the buffet, as well as different flavor wings, pasta, bread sticks, cinnamon sticks, salad bar, and ice cream too. Totally worth the money. The pizza was quite good actually. You could request your favorite pizza also. With drinks, it was less than $ 20 for two of us. We will definitely go back.

Decent pizza. Good value. They even have an area with video games and even a pinball machine.

Spending two months in Benson and was looking for a good pizza. Read the reviews on Unilocal for this restaurant and decided to give it a try, was not disappointed. Got a pizza to go the man that took our order was very friendly, the pizza sauce was good, the crust and toppings were just right. We will return often. They have a buffet at lunch and Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

We pulled into the campground and just wanted to relax and not cook. Pizza sounded great and checked Unilocal to find some. R&R Pizza came up and it was the best choice ever.
Great service, great pizza in 30 minutes to our door, what could be wrong with that?
It will be our favorite spot when we pass through twice a year. EXCELLENT.

I was in town for business, and checked Unilocal for a reference. Unilocal didn’t let me down, this time. We ordered the pizza and wing combo, and it was all great. It included breadsticks (amazing), wings, pizza and a 2 liter soda. I have no complaints. Fresh ingredients and fast and friendly delivery. Great job R&R keep it up!

So we were in Benson this afternoon and on a whim we decided to try R&R Pizza. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner… well actually pizza dinner but you get the point. The place used to be a steakhouse a few years go and that wasn’t bad either but now as a pizza joint it is pretty good too. The Pizza was really good and the servers were really friendly. I kind of got a flashback to the past when I saw that they had an arcade room. Lots of good seating and serve yourself soda taps. The only thing that would have made this visit epic would have been if they had Pibb on tap. I guarantee you that the cars would be lined up for miles waiting to get in just to try the sweet nectar of the gods.
After we finished eating, my youngest son turned to me and said «Dad, is this Heaven?» and I said «No Son this is Benson».
Try it and maybe you will like it.

Popped in again on 7÷2÷2015. Same great pizza as the last 3 we’ve enjoyed. Keep on baking up those delicious pies and we’ll keep stopping in on our road trips to eat em up.

Best pizza in Benson. Their sauce has a great little spice to it which sets it apart from all the other pizza places. I always got the thin crust with pepperoni, bacon, and pineapple. Buffet is a solid deal too

Stopped at this quaint little pizza place in Benson. I didn’t know what to expect, except I did know there was a salad bar. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the food and ambiance (Cen Cali’s could compare it to Me & Ed’s, including the juke box, so it hit close to home). The pizza was good (and we are vegan, so cheese free gives true flavor) and the salad bar was your typical pizzeria salad bar, which is always a good thing. The place was worn down (torn seats), and the customer service was not very cheerful but timely in there delivery (10 – 15 wait is not bad). The seating area is decorated in trains, and benches even look like they’re made from railroad ties, and with the randomly passing train just down the street to provide slight background sounds, it ties together quite pleasantly. There is an arcade room separated by glass which prevents the noise irritation, but there is seating in the arcade area, if that’s what you’re into. We will return again, and we might just bring our kids.

Good pizza– especially for Benson! Greatly outweighs it’s in town competition. I have 2 stars because they’re closed on Sunday which for us is super disappointing because we’d love to be able to get delivery during the Sunday football game. Also, have had their spaghetti and Alfredo multiple times, the sauce And meatballs have really good flavor but the pasta is SO over cooked… I mean falling apart as you’re trying to eat it. Some delicious Aldente pasta would improve the dish significantly.

Great pizza, quite rustic. Some stuff sort of looks like its falling apart, but we had no problems. Nice staff.

Excellent place! We had the buffet and it was pretty awesome, they have pizza, wings, spaghetti, salad bar, breadsticks and pastry pizzas. The service is excellent! We were asked if we wanted anything in specific for the buffet. The pizzas are delicious, and we also got ice cream cones at the end. We drove from Tucson to Benson for this place, we do not regret it! We need an r&r in Tucson again. The price is very good for all the things available and quality.

This is our second time to R&R in a few years time. We travel through Benson several times a year. Great pizza!!! Came out from the kitchen fast. Very consistent.

This place is awesome !!! Truly the best pizza in Benson. I took advantage of the $ 20 voucher I was able to buy for only $ 10. The restaurant is very clean and very comfortable. They have a small game room which my child just loves. The pizza was cooked to order very fast, and it was absolutely delicious. I live close by, so of course I will be returning. It would be a great place for a pizza party for birthdays, etc. Which I think we will do next year on my childs birthday. Its cheaper than Chucky E. Cheese, its closer, its cheaper and the pizza is way better.

Stayed in Benson for the winter so had pizza several times. This place was the best in town. Very clean and great tasting pizza. Far better then the nearby pizza business. You can’t go wrong having dinner here.
