Red Mountain Trails specializes in horseback trail rides and horse-​drawn wagon rides in Eastern Washington’s famous Red Mountain AVA.

Enjoy wagon ride picnics, wine tasting, amazing views, and gentle horses.

We offer fun for the whole family with our wagon ride barbecues amongst the vines, and on Friday and Saturday nights experience our sunset wagon rides with gourmet dinner and wine!

History

Established in 2013.

As one of the first families on Red Mountain, we know every rock, sagebrush, and slope on the hill. We are passionate about the area and believe that horseback (or horse-​drawn wagons) are the best way to see it.

We began offering trail rides and dinners in 2013. In 2014 we expanded our operations by adding draft horses and horse-​drawn wagons. We now offer wagon ride dinners (BBQ on Sunday, Weds, Thurs and more formal menu on Fri and Sat nights), wagon ride wine tours, riding lessons, and more.

Business Owner

My family moved to Red Mountain in 1973. We were the only people out here and lived in a one room shack (which is now our tack room). We had an outhouse and dad hand-​drilled our well.

In 2011 my husband and I bought the farm from my mother’s estate. It’s been so good to be back home, surrounded by vineyards and horses!

My favorite part of this business is that I’m doing something that was my favorite thing to do growing up, and I get to share it with others. Horses and this area are very special to me, I hope you enjoy it too.
