Welcome to The Wild Trillium, LLC where you’ll find unique gift and home décor, many hand made by artists and craftsmen from southern Illinois and the Midwest.

Our unique gift emporium is located in Benton, Illinois featuring re-​purposed vintage, handmade and one-​of-​a-​kind items. Our products include jewelry, accessories, apparel, bath and body, candles, home décor, furniture, wall art, tabletop and pantry.

Our mission is to support local business — local artist and craftsmen. We are constantly seeking out new items made by artists and craftsmen that live and work in southern Illinois and the Midwest.

The Wild Trillium is owned by Wade Durham of Thomasville, Georgia and managed by Sharon Hewitt of Benton, Illinois.

History

Established in 2013.

Friends and collaborators, Wade Durham and Sharon Hewitt, dreamed up this big idea for their little hometown — to provide a little bit of local flare to travelers, vacationers and «antiquers» that visit the Benton square. By offering handmade items by local artists and craftsmen, they hoped to provide a unique option to folks that live near and far. The doors of The Wild Trillium opened on May 11, 2013.

Sharon brings not only her infectious smile, but a lifetime of experience in the creative industry. She’ll most likely be the one to greet you as you enter the door of The Wild Trillium. Sharon not only manages and operates the TWT, she also works with the artists to develop products for the shop and online store.
