Berea Coffee & Tea Co.

This is going to brief. All I wanted was coffee, yogurt and fruit. I got coffee, past the sell by date yogurt and they had no fruit, none.
The bakery section looked a bit old too and not very appetizing. Also, if your order is under $ 5 they charge you a transaction fee. My order was a little over $ 4. If there were a sign I would have likely purchased a couple tea bags but the ran my card then told me.

I can’t even provide a picture of the delicious apricot scone because I enjoyed it first and thought of photography later! I stopped in while walking around the downtown area. Very cozy, very chill atmosphere… if I was on campus more often, I would definitely be back to sample more of the menu and drinks!

Nice location down town Berea. The café looks inviting and welcoming. The staff was friendly! Awesome coffee and muffins. We enjoyed also the hot chocolate and Chai Latte!

Berea Coffee & Tea Co was an excellent place to get a sandwich and a fantastic cup of joe. And there was practically no line for lunch compared to a place around the corner. It’s not a touristy type of shop and does not appear to be a place intended for Berea College students to hang out.

Latte was excellent but $ 6 for a small (including add-​ins) was pricey… sweet and creamy!

Just stopped over in Berea for a night and was not only pleasantly charmed by the community and the Tavern Hotel, I loved my morning cup of coffee and scone from Berea Coffee & Tea.
I got a latte and the blueberry scone of the day. Neither disappointed. I loved the atmosphere — dark and warm, full of greenery and artwork. An eclectic welcoming place to grab a cup, sit and talk with friends, or read a good book. I could sit and read here all day!

Excellent place to get good coffee and food. Everything is homemade and uses the freshest ingredients. For coffee I suggest their raspberry mocha. I don’t usually like the idea of chocolate and fruit together, but this drink changed my mind. For sandwiches, their Roma and Mediterranean veggie are my favorites. They have tons of vegetarian/​vegan choices.
The atmosphere of the place is very chill and relaxing. It’s a good spot to do homework or catch up with friends.

Not really a coffee or tea drinker so this is not a favorite place of mine but I know several of my colleagues who enjoy this place which is cool. But if you’re like me and is not a coffee or tea drinker. You can still go and enjoy a quick snack, friendly environment, air and wi-​fi

This last time I visited, I didn’t even buy anything. I came in for the calming
atmosphere. I had a lot of work to get done and I was able to do a majority of it there. I joke with the owner all the time. However, I really admire his place and dedication towards serving customers.
Just because I didn’t get anything this last time, it does not mean I don’t ever. I enjoy the Hazelnut Frappé, Jett Tea, Hot Tea, Blueberry Bagel, and Brownie.
I don’t always like the prices but the food and drinks are really good.

I don’t get there nearly often enough, even though they’re less than a mile away. With a wide variety of coffee and teas, some great sandwiches, and down right sinful pastries. .. perhaps it’s a good thing I don’t get there more often. The baristas remember you and your preferences, and sometimes will serve you what you want before you tell them. (seriously)

This gem in the heart of Berea is a favorite for college students, locals, and travelers. The authentic ambience, and the warm interior design makes BC&T a comfortable place for meetings and thinking.
I don’t drink coffee, but I always enjoy their freshly baked cakes and pastries, and their wide variety of tea. My favorite is their cheesecake, and whole grain croissants with tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce.

Writing this review will do little justice to the greatness Berea Coffee and Tea represents. As a college student, this place is my weakness because I have made this comforting and welcoming shop my second home. I can always depend on high quality and consistent drinks. The baristas have become my friends and can attest to how much they love serving their customers. Really great spot to do homework, meet new friends, and take care of business. My only request for them is to open for later hours.

Alright work ambience, but the cappuccino was less-​than special and so expensive I thought it was a mistake.

BC&T has a great atmosphere. The inside offers free Wifi (be warned that is it spotty), approximately 10 seating areas, and a dim-​casual interior design. It stays busy almost everyday because it is a favorite among college students and travelers! I recommend the white chocolate frappé! This place is a great place to grab a quick cup of coffee or just hang out with friends!

Excellent brew of Highland Grogg and the panini sandwiches are great as well. Nice atmosphere.

BC&T is the ultimate coffee shop for students, professors and community members in Berea, KY. Situated in the College Square, the location is perfect for a quick coffee run before classes, hours of homework on school nights or chilled conversations with friends. Great ambiance, decent prices and quick service. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Frappé!

It’s okay; but the food has gone down hill recently.

This is by far my favorite place to be. The atmosphere is incredulous pleasant, the seating is incredibly comfortable, there are plenty of outlets, and there’s always good music.
I’ve tried tons of their beverages and their sandwiches and I’ve not once been disappointed! I seriously recommend their food to anyone. The five star is a solid roast, and they have a rotating flavor which is always fun to try. My favorite is Highlander Grogg– if they have it when you go, you should seriously try it.

I’m not a coffee shop person, but I’ve been in a few because Sweetie is. And this place is a great one.
We were looking for coffee after missing the hotel breakfast, and figured there’d be something in a college town. We saw this, but drove by because it looked closed. Circled back, and it was open– it’s decorated with a lot of wood, and small lamps, so it was kinda dark from the outside. Very comfortable inside, with plenty of seating along one side, and the counters on the other. Coffee, yes, which Sweetie said was good. Pastries, as you might expect. Plus sandwiches. Awesome sandwiches. I had the ham and cheese, on a customer’s recommendation. The bread was great, the fillings were great; add a pickle and chips, and it was a good breakfast/​lunch. Sweetie had a BLT, I think, and loved it. There were lots of other interesting sandwiches on the board, and some special drinks. Service was excellent. Prices weren’t bad. We’re already planning a trip back to Berea because of the awesome college, so I’m sure we’ll be back.

I’ve been visiting this place for over 13 years, it truly is an adorable and inviting coffeehouse & café in the community.
Stop in for coffee, milkshakes, breakfast, lunch, dessert who you’re visiting, recharging or studying.
It seems as though they have updated the menu, you’ve gotta try the blueberry scones and apple pie of its available when you stop. yum!
Enjoy your delicious food & beverages on their charming back patio, you won’t regret it!
