History

Established in 1993.

LAN Systems has been providing expert solutions to clients in the North Georgia area since 1993. We started as a Novell networking specialist and have grown into an IT business specialist with expertise in numerous fields. Many of our clients have been with us since our beginning and through positive referrals we have grown year after year.

Our clients are medical practices, accounting and financial firms, property and commercial management companies, manufacturing and service organizations to name a few. We grow because our clients grow. Our expertise in designing, installing and maintaining business systems and networks has flourished because of the growing IT demands of our clients.

Business Owner

Ms. Hester is the CEO of LAN Systems which provides IT solutions in the Greater Metro Atlanta Area. LAN Systems is dedicated to providing business technology that works for people. In 2004, Mary founded Intelligent System Solutions, Inc. (ISS) which provides high-​tech consulting, sales and service to utility customers. Mary brings extensive experience managing a support and service group renowned for its «Best in the Industry» rating and standards. She is an expert in customer loyalty and retention. She has designed and delivered numerous training courses and workshops on a variety of topics.

Ms. Hester has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from the University of Georgia at Athens. In addition to working with utilities on security and other topics, she is very active in the industry and serves on several committees that address security concerns for public utilities.
