History

Established in 1920.

McKiblerBee’s started it’s tradition in 1920 as a furniture and dry goods store. Over the past century it has been home to several different kind of businesses and has been restored to its original purpose of fine furniture by our local manufacturer Caperton Furnitureworks which makes heirloom quality custom furniture. We have installed 48 ft of sluice for gemstone mining activities. There is something for everyone in our store from Mennonite made Jams and Rugs to primitives to arrowhead necklaces!

Stephanie and Donnie K.

Business Owner

Stephanie has had a successful career as a hairdresser for the past 33 years. Donnie has had 30 years experience as a grocery store manager. They have always wanted to start their own business and decided to jump in last year when they landed the Gat Creek local showroom! The name came from Stephanie maiden name of McBee and the married name of Kibler. They have tried to bring in nostalgic charm of yesteryear by offering a variety of wholesome Mennonite made Jams and Rugs along wit pan mining activities for all ages! They hope you will enjoy an afternoon at McKiblerBee’s with your whole family.
