4 Less Smog Check

Smog check was fast and very cheap. Very reliable place for being open on a saturday. Great customer service great smog shop

It is a good price to get smog done in town, but I had a bad experience about their poor customer services.
It need to be wait for a long time to get done.
The first time I went the tech didnt give me the file copy and receipt which I asked he said I dont need it. When my insurence agent ask for it, I went back the 2^nd time. The other tech. was there said he is busylet me wait. I saw 2 cars he is working on, I can wait after them because they came eailer than me. But after over 20 mins he is working on the 3^rd car which I wasnt see when I came. I went in the room he still said busy. I asked when will be me? The cars always come do you want to leave me waitting for the whole afternoon? It was you company’s fault that didnt give me the copy and receipt why you make me wait so long? Am I coint your customer? Or just because I paid my money already you dont get any addtional money?
Anyway they really mess my good mood for the whole afternoon. I wont go there again!

Had my check just now. Luis was quick, professional, and respectful, it took him 15 minutes from beginning to end. $ 10 extra for vans, brings total (with a discount) up to $ 35.

The discount price is NOT the DISCOUNT Price. If you fail the test they will charge you another fee to come back and test it again. If you use a debit card, they will charge you an additional $ 2.00 fee. They will nickle and dime you to death. This place is not worth it. The real price depends on whatever they feel at the time.

Dropped in here while my wife was at the grocery store. It was quick, even though one car was ahead of me. Cheaper than any place around so I gave the young gentleman a deserved tip for his speedy and courteous service.

Best rates, fast service. No frills but Dan is a pro. There were two cars ahead of me when I got there but it went quickly. Will go back.

This place is hidden around the corner from another auto shop and I almost missed it. Drove right up at 4pm on a saturday, check was over in less than 15 minutes. The man who helped me was nice and professional and made the whole thing pretty painless. $ 25 all-​in for a 10 year old Corolla, the price is right.

So, after driving through rush hour traffic and then waiting a bit for another test to be completed it was my turn. I am told my Mini-​Van will require a $ 15 extra charge. Well at this point I figure I will just get this done. The $ 15 seems unfair but my time has value too so for $ 15 more than I should have to pay I can have this chore finished in 15 minutes.
My test happened to only require hooking up the code reader to the car and a visual inspection. Took maybe 10 minutes. No tailpipe test at all.
So I asked why there is an extra $ 15 charge for a mini-​van. It is clearly not an RV or heavy duty commercial vehicle. I am told it is because of the weight of the vehicle. I asked what part of the smog check I just watched as impacted by the weight of the vehicle and was told (1) $ 40 out the door is a good price for a smog check as other charge more and (2) he doesn’t set the prices he just works there. He was polite and the conversation was professional, if not completely rational.
So if you do elect to go there expect bare bones — low end facilities, don’t be surprised if they don’t honor their published coupon price, and don’t expect them to honor «Guaranteed best price smog check anywhere!». I could have gotten the smog check done for the same price or a little less at a dozen places between my home and their shop.

Geary was nothing but helpful fixing my tire and speedo for a great price. His assessment and repairs were significantly less than my previous repair shop’s quote. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my repair /​smog needs.
