Allied Body & Frame

I picked Allied based on their ratings here and they didn’t disappoint. From the initial call to meeting with Peter to dealing with the the staff during the repairs the service was consistently top notch. Their customer service was excellent and I have never experienced anything like it from auto repair shops even the branded service shops where you expect better service. Peter was honest when it came to the quote and took the time to inspect the car and explain the needs and time frame. When my car was in the shop he took the time to email updates. He was not there when I came to pick my car and normally it’s the end of it but Peter actually emailed a day later to make sure that I was happy with the repairs. It’s been a month since and everything’s good as new and working well. Many auto places can probably fix your car but not many can match the service standards here. I hope I won’t need a body shop again but I’ll always recommend yours!

My car’s a magnet for dumb drivers… they love to hit it, especially on quiet residential streets. Brought my car here after I got in an accident a couple of months ago. Other party’s insurance co (AAA) gave me a list of places to pick from and I chose these guys after reading their Unilocal reviews. I chose wisely!!! I worked with Dick who was AWESOME and kept me in the loop via email and cell of the status. Very professional, nice and cool. When I went to pick it up, I was so pleasantly shocked that they not only fixed the body damage done by the accident but other dings and scratches on my door that were already there. It was washed and clean as a whistle. Kinda makes me want to get in an accident on the other side of my car so I can get that made pretty too. The area they fixed (driver’s side quarter panel, passenger door and bumper) are so nice now, the rest of my Saab looks like poopoo. It sucks to be in an accident but if u need body work done, mos def come here!!! These guys rock!!!

Hit a high curb, crunched lower portion of front bumper, no extensive damage. Well, my car is fixed. Glad for that. The repairs seem to be done properly.
What wasn’t good was even though I had turned in a written estimate from Geico, with all the forms attached and phone numbers, nothing was billed through them. I had to pay the full $ 948.50 on the spot. Got home, contacted Geico, had to scan copy of invoice… end of story it’s probably gonna be a good 2 weeks until I see that check since Im a travel nurse working in Berkeley and home address inTexas.
Maybe it’s best to go here if you have AAA insurance only? It’s been years since I had to have repairs like that done, but last time I did that was already taken care no matter what insurance I had or where I took it.

I’ve done business with a lot of body shops and this one is by far the most professional. They estimated my car would take 1 week but actually finished it within 3 days. They are AAA certified and also have partnership with hertz. When I dropped my car off they called hertz for me and had me picked up. When it was time to pick up my car I was able to leave my rental here for hertz to pick it up. And when I picked my car up they gave it back to me washed and detailed! 100% recommend them and will continue to do business with them in the future.

We have taken the same Subaru Forster in 3 times for fender benders over the years here to Peter and his awesome team Everything from start to finish was a breeze, working with insurance, working without insurance, getting a rental car, excellent communication, plus, car looks great. Peter is knowledgable, clear about timelines and direct about options– I highly recommend.

This place is awesome. Had a dent in the rear bumper that I thought couldn’t be pulled (thats what another place told me) and went to Allied thinking I was gonna have to get a replacement bumper. But they said they could pull it and pop out that dent, and they did if for very, very cheap! It looks great.

I had the misfortune of being involved in a couple of small car accidents in the past few years and since my car insurance is with AAA, the first time I ended up at Allied Body & Frame because it was a AAA approved shop. I went back there because I really liked their service and Peter is a very nice and friendly guy. During my last visit, after picking up my car, I noticed that there was a crack on the windshield. I thought it had not been there when I dropped the car off, but neither Peter nor me were sure of how it happened. Anyway, Peter agreed to change the windshield for free. I have been meaning to write a review for a while and I am now finally doing it. I highly recommend Allied Body & Frame for the quality of their work and friendly service.

I have a Subaru Outback. Peter and co. Helped repair the damaged roof back in May. The job was great. The shop kept me updated on any new progress they had, which made it easy for me to plan ahead. In a word, 5 star job !

Okay, here we go again. Another hit an run on my BMW with no note from the damage on my front left corner and the rear left corner bumper. But no worries… the crew at Allied Body & Frame came through by magically bringing life to my car once again. Peter, the owner is always professional in all aspects from start (estimate) to finish. Dick, the other office worker, was pleasant and great to work with as well. He followed up on the work (parts) and promised when I could pick-​up my car. A 5 star once again!

These guys saved me! I had some VERY shotty body work done at another shop and Peter and his crew were brave and kind enough to take this job on. I was in a bad wreck, went to a shop recommended by my insurance, and my car was returned in very bad condition: misaligned parts, ridiculous paint job and lots of other botched things. Peter and crew did an amazing job, and also were my allies and advocates along the way with my insurance company. Great customer service and thorough, careful body work and paint job. I hope I will never need body work again, but if I do I will return here in a heartbeat!

I got into a minor crash a month back, and was sent to Allied by my insurance. They did excellent work in bringing it back to showroom condition.

Great!!! Peter (owner) and the whole crew is tops as far as customer service and general work quality. Go here for all of your body, frame and alignment work. They know their stuff and have a great staff that can work with after market mods and other tricky stuff. Ten stars

My 1998 Nissan Pathfinder hit a dear up in the mountains. It pretty much destroyed my front bumper and grill not to mention a range of other items and the dear. I took in to Allied and within a few hours Peter Brisbo got back to me with prelimary costs. He worked with CSAA insurance and it looks great, like new.
To top it off. I found my air conditioner was not working a week later and I brought it back. They carefully looked at it and found the horn mount in the front had punctured the air conditioner unit and emptied it of freon. They had to take things apart to find this and had not questions about getting this fixed.
These guys are all about customer service. They are amazing.

The service here is fantastic. It was the most reasonable of the 4 quotes I received, and given the positive reviews on Unilocal I felt very secure in going with Allied. I had to have my bumper re-​painted and it came out looking absolutely perfect. On top of that, they checked my lights and saw I had a headlight out (which I knew, and had gotten a fix it ticket for earlier) and put in a used light they had lying around free of charge.
These guys are the best! I would use them again and have been recommending them to friends and family.

Peter was super nice and reasonable for the price. This was my second visit for body work I had to go through. There are several body shops in San Pablo ave. I have contacted several of them, but Allied Body & Frame is the place you want to bring your injured car. You will receive an astonished service.

This will be my second body shop review within a 1 year span and i’ve only had my Subaru for less than a year. For some strange reason, idiot drivers like to hit the rear back side of my car and run off without leaving a note. For my latest incident, the person left me a BLANK NOTE! Wtf???
I recently switched auto insurances from mercury to AAA. My sister and bro in law recommended Allied since they have been going to Allied for the past 3 – 5 years or so and has done an amazing job on their cars. Peter and staff was great to work with, very friendly and I have nothing but kudos to them for making the whole entire experience less stressful. One side of my Subaru looks brand new and now I got to take care of the tiny door dings on the other side. I highly recommend Allied for those who have AAA.

I go nowhere else for any body work on my cars. Peter and his staff are kind and curteous, quick, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and fair. I’ve never had any complaints about the work he and his staff have performed on my cars. Always taken care of on a timely basis and to AAA standards. I’ve been a loyal customer since 1984.

After buying a brand new Honda Civic a few years ago, I discovered that it was a magnet to other cars. People constantly seemed to want to rearend me or hit me when I was parked. I replaced the rear bumper 3 times in my first 2 years (twice when I was stopped at stoplights). The bumper just breaks off — stupid plastic disposable bumpers.
Allied Body & Frame is AAA approved and they did a great job of getting my car fixed and returned to me. They are super friendly, informative and do fantastic work. I highly recommend them!
