Specialties

Naturally-raised burgers, homemade Veggieburgers, hand-made sodas, fresh salads, and baked fries all served in biodegradable packaging.

History

Established in 2008.

Several years ago, when Amanda was working at Niman Ranch, a natural meat company, she watched the movie Super Size Me and read the book Fast Food Nation. She recognized the urgent need for convenient and better-for-you food, as most of us are not willing to give up taste or convenience for health and the environment.

In 2006, Amanda and her team started the Feel Good Fast Food blog to promote quick-service foods that are better for both customers and the environment. This highlighted inspiring restaurants and opportunities for improvements. With this inspiration and the help of many, many community members, the team launched Amanda’s.

Amanda’s wants people to enjoy their meals, have a friendly service experience, and leave the restaurant feeling energized, happy, and ready to conquer their days.

Amanda W.

Business Owner

I’ve always wanted to run a business that had a social and environmental mission. While community service has been a part of my life since I started the environmental club at my high school, I have always dreamed about using business to make a positive impact on the world. I went back to graduate school to learn more about how to make this happen and this is when I had the idea for Amanda’s. I’m drawn to providing great tasting, affordable meals using quality ingredients because the way we eat impacts our environment and the way we feel. I truly hope you will enjoy your experience at our restaurant.
