I highly recommend Dr JIll Cohn. I was pretty miserable when I came to her with chronic sinus infections and serious allergic reactions to perfume, not to mention my lack of energy due to all of this and lack of clarity. I had already gone the western medicine route with no real change or help. I have been so grateful to no longer suffer from chronic sinus infections and to be able to be around people who have perfume on — it use to make me so sick. I am also feeling my vitality and joy return! I feel younger& have more energy and joy. I was so stressed and exhausted and now I feel so much better it is like night and day — seriously. I want to highly recommend Dr. Jill Cohn. I had an itchy, bumpy red rash that spread to different parts of my body and caused me a great deal of distress. I was itching and scratching constantly, which was annoying, painful and embarrassing. I visited 2 dermatologists. The first said it was my cat and prescribed medication and cream — it did nothing. With the 2^nd, I went through many visits and months of testing — scratch tests, multiple blood tests, 2 biopses. It was finally diagnosed as being due to a «bug» — spiders or mites. I had my house exterminated and traps set and bought a lot of skin and clothing anti[-repellant. After all this, I still had the allergies worse than ever!
I went to Dr. Cohn after reading the Unilocal review, which spoke of her and her results so favorably. I have to say, I’m very much a «hard science» person, so her alternative techniques had me a little concerned. However, I went with it. After 4 treatments (mostly fast and totally painless and convenient), I am almost allergy-​free! My stress has decreased significantly and I feel like a normal person again.
I would highly recommend Dr. Cohn to anyone who is suffering from allergies and has not had a successful resolution with standard dermatologists!

Dr. Jill has helped my daughters allergies and sensitivities tremendously. And she did this remotely! We live cross country. My first daughter who usually suffers from seasonal allergies noted that she was symptom free for the first time in years after just 3 treatments. Though, even after the first treatment she noticed a significant difference.
My other daughter, with severe acne, has tried several over the counter medications, several prescribed medications and even hormonal therapy. Nothing worked. Firstly, April, 2011 is not 5 years ago. Secondly, «this woman» frequently questioned the lack of efficacy of the treatments — in fact, I started *every* appointment with a discussion of the continuation of my daughter’s symptoms. My concerns were met with bland, passive evasions and hope for better results with more sessions (purchased at a premium price). My review is honest and verifiable — unlike this charlatan.

If you suffer from food allergies or environmental allergies, you DO have an option to be allergy free. 4 years ago I underwent a great deal of social stress and my body launched a full on attack on itself. I went from being robust and allergy free most of my life to becoming allergic to most foods — gluten, dairy, soy, corn, eggs, sugar, nightshades, glutamic acid, coffee, salt, and more. My symptoms were largely neurological, although it caused fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue symptoms as well. I was so sick I couldn’t even drink tap water…
After 3 years of eating/​drinking 99% clean 99% of the time, I realized that strict avoidance of my allergens worked okay, but it was isolating, frustrating, and very lonely. And after 3 years of avoiding anything that hurt me, upon the 1% of the time when I was exposed to my allergens, the effects they had on me were extreme and painful and the smallest trigger would debilitate me for days at a time. That’s when I became desperate and sought out help.
I called 6 allergists throughout the East Bay, and only two called me back. One was a Western allergist who charged $ 1000 for a allergy blood test! Then I got a call back from Dr. Cohn’s office and I found out that the initial allergy test was only $ 150 using their alternative methodologies. Being under financial strain, I had a simple choice and I went with Dr. Cohn simply for financial reasons, and it was the most fortunate decision I’ve ever made.
Dr. Cohn uses something called muscle testing to test for allergies. It’s a test where you extend your arm and the doctor pushes down on your arm with a gentle but firm pressure to test its strength. In the presence of allergens, your arm becomes weak. And the allergens are not introduced physically, but through electronic signals sent through an arm cuff. The software program Dr. Cohn uses is called Advanced Allergy Therapeutics which has converted over 60,000 allergens from molds, to foods, to vitamins, to metals, to money ink, using something a transducer into electronic signals. Every kind of matter has an electronic signature, and our body recognizes the signature. It’s pretty amazing.
The allergy test consists of sending over the electronic signal of an allergen coupled with muscle testing of the extended arm. And the treatment is composed of an acupressure technique called EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique (it looks really silly but is highly effective) and getting your spine massaged by this tapping thing (it feels really good). Treatments take about 30 minutes each.
So I found out I was allergic to FAR more than I ever knew. I was also allergic to mold, fungus, fruit, vegetables, chicken, cotton, dogs, cats, most manmade chemicals, minerals, vitamins (all of them!), gold, salicylates, money ink, smog, and even environmental triggers like heat, humidity, weather changes, wifi, cell phones. Being that aware of my body’s pitfalls explained to me why I was so fragile and was mostly always tired or feeling ill.
So I started 2 months of intensive treatment and I’d sometimes go in twice a day, twice a week. Each treatment was about $ 100, which is a deal given that it’s an investment in yourself, your health, and your quality of life. My first two weeks of treatments were for a group of substances called the «underlyings» which include glutamates, sugars, salts, salicylates, minerals, vitamins, and amines. Those are substances present in all foods.
Then after two weeks, I started treating all the fun stuff. One by one, my allergies were knocked out. Gluten, dairy, soy, corn, eggs, coffee, canola oil, etc. After every treatment, I’d get really tired as my body was trying to make sense of its new bearings (like getting a new pair of glasses — it sends your body into a tizzy) as well as going through detox symptoms. It’s pretty crazy, and that’s how I knew the treatment was working.
I’ve seen Dr. Cohn about 30 times and I’m 95% allergy free now. Strangely, the only things I really react to nowadays are chamomile tea and grass as grasses/​trees/​flowers are the only things I haven’t treated.
Don’t be surprised if after becoming allergy free you catch a cold/​flu or go through emotional release. It’s your body’s immune system finally having the bandwidth to deal with illnesses that were suppressed, emotional baggage, mental baggage, etc. Your body can only fight so many battles when you’re allergy ridden that it suppresses a lot of underlying causes of why you have allergies in the first place.
Post treatments, I’m eating at restaurants now. I can eat my friends’ cooking and my mom’s cooking. I’m eating cheese, lots of cheese! And ice cream, and BBQ, and kettle corn. I’m happy, healthy, dating, and feeling generally very optimistic about life. People used to call me Bubble Girl, no longer :)
On a side note, Dr. Jill Cohn is a doll. She’s truly a good human being.

Simply put, my treatments with Dr. Jill Cohn at Berkeley & Remote Allergy Relief & Chiropractic have changed my life. It’s hard to convey the extent to which this is true, but I’ll try to describe how much these treatments, done remotely, over Skype, in fact, have given me a new lease on health and well-​being. For more than 10 years I have suffered with varying levels of sensitivity to mold. Despite trying practically every course of action I could find, I could never be completely symptom-​free. Gradually, over this past decade symptoms have only increased, these included physical debilitation, rashes, exhaustion as well as a kind of mental fog that would zap me of all clarity, capacity and initiative. Finally, about three months ago, my system had had enough and I was hospitalized.
I came to Dr. Jill desperate, yet within one or two sessions I knew I had found a modality that was a more effective treatment than any other that I had tried in all my years of seeking a «cure.» With each successive session my strength and energy levels increased, my sleep improved and so did my endurance (which had been all but non-​existent for years. As if I needed any more proof, this summer which was a very difficult allergy season here in Colorado – my 6 year old son, for the first time in his life was having bad allergy issues. This was interesting, since he had no stake in it working, something other than a placebo effect had helped him get better so quickly. I’ve been allergy free all summer after five treatments. Skeptical at first but I think it’s helped me with seasonal allergy. Now I can go out and feel normal again thanks to Dr Jill.

I am now allergy free! No more watery eyes or running nose. We did a package of 10 visits with the last 4 remotely. I was a skeptic on that however it was a huge time saver and very successful.
I highly recommend the remote treatments if you have a hectic schedule.

I went into Dr. Cohn’s for treatment of a cat allergy, as my new sweetie had a cat and we wanted to move in together. I was doubtful that it could get cleared up, and when the treatment happened, it was hard to believe that little could do so much. But, thankfully, my doubtful nature did not win out, and within two treatments, I now find myself able to be around cats, without any symptoms. I have since worked with Jill on grass allergies and some digestive stuff. I feel really good and thank Jill very much for bringing this work here to us!

I realized last week that I have ZERO allergy symptoms anymore. Zero watery eyes, zero sneezing, zero congestion in the morning, nothing. After of a lifetime of sneezing, watering itchey eyes, runny nose, etc etc, I’m down to virtually zero reaction to trees and grass pollens or whatever else it was that set me off.

Dr. Cohn treated me for allergies that would hopefully eliminate my headaches on airplanes. Before I even had a chance to see what happened when I flew home, I was amazed and delighted to find that my mysterious hip pain that had been shooting down my thigh to my knee for several months, started melting away and I could sleep comfortably again within 24 hours of the first treatment. It apparently wasn’t mysterious to her, that the pain was worse at night. What a RELIEF!!! And my flight home 2 weeks later was completely comfortable — no headache at all! Update 11÷11÷14: Since Jan., I’ve taken 5 round trip flights across the country (6 hours each way) and haven’t had any more headaches!

I went in on a referral from my nutritionist who felt allergies were affecting some of my health issues. After working with Jill, not only do I experience less sniffling, runny nose and itchy eyes, but the thing that would set me off the most, being near cats, is gone.
Friends ask how this works and although I read the information Jill gave out (and researched on my own) I still don’t know exactly how what she does works, but honestly, I don’t care. What I DO know if that my allergies are better.

In all honesty I have to admit I was skeptical when I began my treatments with Dr. Cohn. Boy has she turned me right around. With every treatment I feel better and more balanced in my daily life. It’s funny how I didn’t even realize how much better I could feel. And we’re not even done yet!
Without going into too much detail about my symptoms, I’d say the most unexpected result is how fast I heal now. Not only do I feel better, but bruises, strained muscles, cuts and scrapes take almost no time to recover. Before, I’d have bruises for weeks. No joke. A small cut would take forever to heal up. Not anymore.
The treatments are totally noninvasive too. Kind of like a back massage actually.
Dr. Cohn asks us to track progress by rating symptoms over time. Individual symptom tracking has been one improvement after another. However, I think the response my body has to damage is possibly the most telling that this treatment works. Whatever it is my body needed to recenter itself, Dr. Cohn is doing it.
Beyond the treatments, Dr. Cohn is such a warm and caring person. She has a genuine desire to heal and help. I can’t thank you enough Dr. Cohn.

About two weeks ago I was allergic to almost everything in the world — pollen, trees, bushes, grass, weeds, etc. I am a scientist and as a scientist I require proof. I went in with extreme skepticism and after three sessions I noticed a very large improvement in the quality of my life. I had a large number of trees around me that were giving me headaches, running nose, itchy eyes, sinus pressure and sometimes migraine. I setup an appointment for 5 days in a row and noticed a vast improvement.

Each session covers what the other sessions did not cover. For me, two days (two 1 hr sessions) were spent on treatment of trees along with other items. After that I am not affected walking by the trees that were treated.
The categories are vast. There are 47,000 items in the list including Trauma, emotional (e.g.: mistrust, etc). Food allergies (milk, peanut butter,…), Hormones, food additives, latex, etc.
In one session you could have treatment for 20 items, depending on time. That one item could be a category — trees. That is 3 minutes on that and you are done with it for life. If it is a major allergy then it might require 3 full sessions. It is hard to tell, it depends on your body.
Why choose her then anyone else? She really knows her work. She is very caring, kind and knowledgeable. She has the background and the depth of knowledge about it. The first assessment was $ 250. The 10 package is $ 1000 so overall $ 1250. How much will you pay to relieve yourself of allergies forever? I still have 3 more sessions left out of the 11 above, from the list of items I am going to need the full 11 sessions. I would definitely do one-​off sessions in about a month or two and then half a year if I see anything that is affecting me. each additional session is $ 125.
I have had the treatment done for two weeks and over that time I have noticed quite an improvement in my life. I hope you have the same experience. I will write another review in about a month or so.

Dr. Jill Cohn is awesome. If you have an allergy problems what so ever you should go here. All my life I have been allergic to everything and I mean EVERYTHING, anything I would eat could give me a rash or even send me to the hospital. Dr. Cohn fixed all of that with her miracle allergy treatment. I use to be the nerdy kid reading the ingredients on the labels of food products and I would have an anxiety attack any time I would go out to eat. Now I can eat what I want, I have stopped being sick randomly, my stomach pains have gone away (I have had stomach problems since I was a kid,) my skin has cleared up and my quality of life has drastically increased. So if you have an allergy or are sick randomly she worth checking out, my life has turned around for the better since meeting her. She is smart, nice and she knows what she is doing. It worth the time and the price. I have nothing but nice things to say about her and her practice.
