I went to Roy to see if he could help me file an amended return. Instead of talking to me about my taxes, he started asking me personal questions that creeped me out. Then he said he couldn’t help me when I asked him to stay on topic about my taxes and that he would charge me way more than I could afford. Afterwards, I went to another tax service preparer and they charged me a reasonable rate to file an amended return and kept the conversation extremely professional. All I can say is that there are alternatives to Roy.

This will be the third year we have used Roy for our taxes. He knows his stuff, and gets it done very quickly.
The price was also very reasonable and I am sure we got more back in returns than the cost we paid.

Great customer service!
Roy is very knowledgeable, friendly and organized. He is an expert at his job! If you need to do your taxes, Roy is your guy! You might have to make an appointment but it is better than wasting your time and patience with other incompetent tax services. Highly recommended!

If you can get over meeting your tax preparer in a busy coffee house, you will meet with a knowledgeable gentleman who will prepare your taxes and print them out in one of the most professional tax presentations I ever saw. I think this fine presentation is important in that it suggests authenticity in our tax returns.

I love Berkeley Tax Service! Roy is a tax professional who has experience working with small businesses like mine. He charged me much less then what H&R Block had quoted me and completed my taxes in about an hour.
