So this review isn’t really regarding the business per say, more an experience. I left my wallet here 3 days ago and just got it back. So happy I don’t have to waste a lot of time replacing everything not to mention a lot of heartache and emotion turmoil. All my cash and everything else was in it, nothing missing! So appreciative that there are still good, honest people out there. Thank you campus minimart! Whenever I am in the area I will frequent your establish!

This used to be the nicest Shell gas station in Berkeley. I don’t know if the place changed hands or the owners just got cheap. Now they are price gouging like they were next to a freeway on ramp(or that really vile Shell station at San Pablo and Marin.) They’ve also done away with squeegees for your windshield, are charging for air and water and make you go inside to ask the very surly clerk for a receipt. They’ve lost a customer in me.

This place is overpriced and the clerk today acted like he spoke absolutely no English. I paid the outrageous price of 50 cents for putting air in my tires and before I got to the third tire, the air pump shut off. When I asked the clerk for tokens to finish putting air in my tires, he said I had to buy their(over priced) gas. Asking to talk to the manager was useless– all he would do is point to the entrance where the owner’s name was printed over the doorway, with no phone number. I’ll be filing complaints where I can.

Overpriced convenience store(but would you expect anything else?) I live quite close to them so sometimes when a housemate is hogging the bathroom I simply walk over and ask to use their bathroom with the promise I’ll buy something later, usually something that I would’ve eventually bought anyways. They are a clean store with a fairly clean bathroom, and as a convenience store, they certainly are CONVENIENT! when i need an energy drink or am starving because of exams(no time to cook, shop, or eat straches because of food coma). on weekdays they make some restaurant-grade chicken wings and other stuff which I occasionally enjoy(but it’s rather pricey at about 50 cents a piece) when i’m really hungry. when they are closed i go to the 24-hr touchless car wash, but that’s much farther.

This is the mini mart at the shell gas station. I have a Shell card and they once gave me crap about buying something less than 5 dollars. Basically, I had to threaten to call Shell corporate. They DO sell parking for the basketball games which is nice. And it’s a good clean market so I definitely stop there.
