I LOVE the Capitol Corridor train! It allows me to work, sleep, or socialize while I commute from somewhere affordable to live (Fairfield) to somewhere amazing to go the school (Berkeley). The conductors are always pleasant, there are tables, power outlets, and wi-​fi, and, oh did I mention the café car where I can grab a snack, coffee, or beer! Being from a small town in AZ with no public transportation, this train made all the difference in deciding to come to Berkeley.
To be fair, it can occasionally be late, or too warm in the car, but the price for monthly unlimited rides is a bargain! I just wish the bring a friend for $ 5 on the weekend deal applied to multi-​ride tickets… it seems like it was designed with commuters in mind and ruined by corporate big-​wigs!
None the less, I love this train!
