I specialize in work with couples and individual adults dealing with relationship problems. Common issues for couples I see include communication difficulties, affairs, arguing or withdrawing, parenting conflict. I have experience working with a diverse range of people, including couples in mixed race/​culture relationships and members of the LGBTQ community.

I also help people in individual therapy who are struggling to make sense of difficult relationships (often with partners, but also with parents, children, other family members, or friends) as well as with the feelings of depression, anxiety and grief, that often occur when a relationship or marriage ends.

History

Established in 1998.

I have been working in the counseling and human services field since 1989 and have been in private practice in Berkeley for over thirteen years.
