Since then, Davlin has been manufacturing a complete line of coatings both archnitectural and industrial; as well as many specialty coatings, including the Acrylastic line of waterproof elastomerics. Davlin’s coatings are in use all over the world covering hundreds of millions of square feet.

History

Established in 1968.

Davlin’s Acrylastic was brought to life in 1975 to fill the industry’s demand for a coating with superior adhesion, toughness, elongation, and water-​proofing characteristics. Nearly forty years later, Davlin still stands at the top in the development of quality, waterproof elastomeric coatings and continues to introduce new innovations to the field.

This is only a small portion of Davlin’s extensive offerings to the coatings market. Davlin’s most popular product is the legendary Capseal formula; introduced in 1971, it is still widely considered the industry’s premier asphalt sealer.

Looking to the future of the industry, Davlin is a member of the Cool Roof Rating Council, earned several EPA Energy Star Certifications, and established itself as a manufacturer of durable, energy-​efficient and environmentally friendly weatherproofing materials. Davlin’s Cool Roof system, which includes the highly reflective Sunshield formula, has been energy star certified to save on cooling costs.
