The gallery offers fine art from established local and international artists but also is a place that supports and encourages artistic talent development. Some newcomers to the arts will always have a chance to display some of their work.

History

Established in 1960.

Expressions Gallery was started as a sole proprietorship in 1960. In 2013, it was converted to a 501 C 3 non-​profit organization now known as Expressions Gallery Arts and Educational Center, combining a walk-​in Art Gallery, An Educational Center with classes for kids, adults and artists; BuyArt​wor​kNow​.com, a national and international website for artists and collectors to list their art and become known and for interior designers, landscape designers, collectors and new homeowners to find exactly what they want using the sophisticated search engine. In addition, Expressions Gallery holds monthly poetry and literature readings, a comedy night, has a rental gallery and floral arts component perfect for Realtors showing properties, restaurants and businesses with front desks or lobbies that need art. The gallery focuses on offering shows that have social relevance and on bringing together those who love the arts into an art community.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

The business was first owned and created by Rinna B. Flohr. In 2013 it was converted to a non-​profit agency and Ms. Flohr became the Director. There is a Board of Directors that meets quarterly and a small staff and lots of volunteers who work together to run the gallery.
