My work used Feet First for a team building event. They set up an Amazing Race-​type activity for a group of about 60 – 70 people. I was impressed on how organized they were. From the clues to the puzzles, everything fit together and made the competition run smoothly. After the competition, the staff quickly gathered up video footages that we recorded and put them together for a highlight video.
The only bad thing about Feet First Eventertainment? Maybe the embarrassing things they made us do during the Amazing Race. :)

Dave DJ’d our wedding and it was AWESOME. He kept it classy for the grandparents, but fun enough later on that we had the dance floor rocking all night. Couldn’t say enough about how great of an emcee he was and we got so many compliments on the music. We can’t recommend him enough!

We could not have more pleased with Dave and his company. He delivered as promised and more. He is extremely personable and our guests loved him. He was professional and holds himself to a high standard and it shows in his work.

This is a review for Sean King as well as Feet First Eventertainment. Sean from Feet First DJ’d me and my wife’s wedding in Half Moon Bay in August, and we couldn’t be happier with both him and the company.
When we first booked with Feet First, we had chosen a different DJ based on the descriptions on the website. However, as time progressed it became clear that there would be some scheduling difficulties. Amy was exceptionally helpful and contacted Sean immediately, who in turn contacted us very shortly thereafter.
We had a few phone meetings with Sean, as well as an in-​person meeting at Starbucks to discuss must-​have songs and even have a little listening party. Sean also made a multi-​hour drive to our venue a couple weeks beforehand to scope out the space and meet with the venue owner/​planner. Talk about going above and beyond!
The event was wildly successful, everybody was dancing and even though we had initially said we weren’t group/​line dance people, we all ended up doing the Cha Cha Slide… even the grannies! Sean is also an incredible dancer, so when I hit the floor for a couple songs he hit the floor too, popping and ticking like a grandfather clock full of fireworks.
Sean King and Amy Wu from Feet First were incredibly professional and went above and beyond our expectations in DJing and MCing our wedding. Our only problem now is finding another event to throw so we can hire Sean again!

(This review is for Dave Cloutier, but I was very happy with Feet First Entertainment’s administrator, Amy, as well!)
From the first email and phone conversation I could tell that I liked Dave. He has a good sense of humor and is easy-​going, but still professional. Dave let us know immediately that he was there for us no matter how corny or silly the request, and I felt incredibly confident in him throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding. He returned emails in a timely manner, met with us in person, asked the right questions, and understood what kind of wedding we wanted. Overall, I would say Dave is an excellent communicator.
On the big day, Dave did a fantastic job. He showed up on time, checked-​in with us throughout dinner, played the songs I had sent to him, and made sure everyone was having a great time! I did not want to leave the dance floor and was so sad when it was time for the last song!
I will be recommending Dave to my friends and family, and hope to attend a wedding in the future where he DJs!

Dave was our DJ at our wedding March 1^st and we are SO happy we hired him! I knew he would be great. My family has used Feet First for three other events; two weddings and a retirement party. We had such great feedback on our music from those three parties so naturally when I was planning my wedding the first place I went to was Feet First. Our DJ from those parties is no longer DJ’ing (he is working strictly behind the scenes now, he is the so cal owner) but he recommended his brother Dave. I spoke with Dave on the phone and I totally clicked with him and knew he would be the perfect personality for our wedding. I take music very seriously for a party; it can completely make or break it. So the DJ was one of, if not the most important part of my wedding. Dave met my now husband and I two months before so we could go over details. We were out of the way for him, but he made sure we had a face-​to-​face meeting. Again after meeting him I felt so confident with his fun and bubbly personality that we were in good hands. And I was so right! We were a bit high-​maintenance and had a big play list full of requests. He handled it perfectly and played all our favorite songs. You know you have a talented DJ when they get the 60 year olds and the 30 year olds up dancing to the same songs. All of our friends were raving about our awesome DJ. He is not only a great DJ, but a great MC too. Doing a wedding is a big responsibility with a schedule to keep and announcements to make. Dave kept our night on schedule and we got everything in we wanted.

Feet First did an amazing job ensuring that our Wedding Day sound and entertainment was perfect! The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful and they make the process of hiring a DJ easy. Our DJ Scott did a fabulous job handling the «3 settings» for our wedding, the ceremony, dinner and dancing were all in different locations on the property and the sound was perfect for them all. Scott has an incredible sense of knowing exactly what songs to play to keep the crowd on their feet and including songs on our «please» play list. He even made the surprise request by my 8 yr old (now step-​daughter) to speak, seem like it was all part of the plan:)
Feet First is professional but easy going and throws a great party! Look no further Feet First is the best choice in town!

Hiring Dave from Feet First was one of the best decisions of our wedding. As we had a trio for the ceremony, we only needed Dave to do music during the reception. When my husband and I explained the timeline to him, he was instantly looking for ways he could help. He stepped up every time someone looked confused or stalled for a second. I couldn’t believe all he was doing at our wedding before it was even his time to do music. The wedding was about to start without my Mother and he noticed and ran to get her! When the bridesmaids didn’t start walking, he subtly nudged them and told each one when to go. He did way more than any DJ is ever supposed to do and I am so grateful to him for it. Dave worked with the trio to time a song so they played it outside while he played it inside the chapel. He understood exactly what we wanted for music during brunch and even managed to incorporate our random song requests that I’m sure he didn’t own before the event (like the Rosie the Riveter song). We were very open to what kind of music to play to encourage dancing so he got a feel for what we don’t like and let people request as long as it fit what we were looking for. He got EVERYONE on the dance floor. We had a small wedding with people of all ages so it must have been a challenge to have everyone dancing, but he succeeded. He was amazing at transitions and made everything go really smoothly. When we were in the zone he would kindly ask us if we were ready to do the next event or if we would prefer to wait a couple min. He kept us on track so we didn’t forget to do anything but was also incredibly flexible. He was so professional, helpful and unlike a lot of DJs, he really listened to us.
If you are considering just plugging in an IPod, I highly recommend you go with Feet First instead. Having a DJ from Feet First isn’t just someone playing a set list. Dave was flexible enough to keep the dance floor full and was crucial to the flow of the reception.

Feet First organized an Amazing Race for my 50^th birthday party. It was all around Fishermans Wharf & North Beach. All 56 of us, including some kids had an absolute blast. The staff are professional, enthusiastic and creative. I highly recommend Feet First for any party.

We worked with Sean at Feet First and had a great time. Sean is great with guests, very warm and friendly. We had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted to play, but at the same time didn’t want to DJ it ourselves. We put ourselves in Sean’s hands and were happy to do so. Sean does a great job at playing songs for all ages, and finding dances hits that you maybe haven’t heard before. He also had a fantastic cocktail hour mix that our guests loved (modern hits done by string and jazz quartets). He was punctual, professional, and courteous. He did not dominate the microphone and took requests from our guests in stride. He didn’t get bossed around by anyone, but still made the guests feel heard. His crowd control was wonderful.
Overall I had a great experience with Feet First and would recommend. If I were to do it again, I would have maintained steadier contact with Sean in the weeks prior, just to make sure we were 100% on the same page in terms of what songs we most wanted to hear. Overall though a great experience.

I’m a wedding planner and I work with a ton of not so great DJ/​MC’s and so the few that are really great stand out to me. Finding that right combo who can play great music, on time, feel the crowd, and be in tune with me as to staying on time with the timeline is harder than you think. Anthony was able and willing to do anything he could to help out and make sure the wedding was a success. He was prepared and helped me keep things rolling, which is a huge help for me. I can’t stay enough how hard this has been to find and he made my job 100 times easier/​more of a pleasure because of his attentiveness and upbeat attitude. Thank you!!!

We had Anthony from the LA division DJ our wedding and he could not have been more awesome.
I took on the task of planning my entire wedding and trying to figure out how exactly to select a DJ was tough for me. I had met with several others prior to coming across Feet First and they were either really cheesy, questionable in their experience or VERY expensive and not really worth the cost.
From the moment I called Feet First, DJ Anthony was actually the one to answer the phone. He was able to answer all of my questions and set a time to meet with me prior to booking (some of the companies I spoke with were just going to «assign» me a DJ based off of a phone conversation with me).
From our initial meeting to the wedding, Feet First and DJ Anthony were absolutely great. Easy to get a hold of, willing to cater to our needs and professional. My husband and I, as well as our guests, had such a FUN time at our wedding. He really knew how to read the crowd and keep everyone on the dance floor the whole night. Not only that, but he kept us on the scheduled we had discussed, adjusting as necessary and was a great emcee as well.
We cannot thank DJ Anthony and Feet First Entertainment for making our wedding such a blast!

We had our wedding in June, Dave was our DJ. We met with Dave well in advance to see if he was a match for us — he is such a great guy. Aside from his talent as a DJ, he is very professional, personable, and open. He really knew what he was talking about, and was PHENOMENAL on the day off. He made things so much easier on me as the bride — I really trusted in his knowledge and experience. Dave did the ceremony music, which was awesome as well.
Our reception was a great time, guests were dancing the whole time! He really played music that was appealing to our guests. I requested a few songs prior to the wedding so he knew a general route to take, but I wanted him to gauge the crowd and play music that worked for everybody. He did just that, and our guests are still talking about the wedding! He really did such a great job, I recommend him very highly. THANK YOU DAVE!

I went with Feet First Eventertainment when planning a team building event. We decided to go with the Amazing Race. From the get-​go, they were very helpful with providing prices on the different events they offer, and how it will work with a group of 13. Once we decided on the Amazing Race, they basically took it from there, and only asked us a couple things to ensure the event went smoothly (i.e: team breakouts, timeline, location). They were EXTREMELY accommodating with our team’s timeline and even gave us the cell phone number of the person who will be the coordinator the day of (Scott). They just told us to text/​call Scott if we’re running a little late, and were extremely flexible.
The actual event was tons of fun. They planned out an entire course for us with clues, maps, a flip cam, a GPS system, back packs, etc. All of the staff were friendly, fun, and organized.
I would definitely recommend Feet First!

We’ve hired Feet First to provide entertainment for our company’s Holiday and New Year Kickoff event for a couple of years and it’s been a blast! Feet First has customized the party based on the crowd and does everything to ensure that all party goers are having fun! There’s no better company to hire to provide entertainment for any event. We’ve had Feet First do multiple events at work, including smaller parties and our largest blowout of the year. Dave the DJ is just incredible. His professionalism never fails, he’s always ready to deal with last minute changes, unforeseen mechanical issues, and all the other curve balls that can possible be thrown at him (and we’ve had our fair share!).
He knows exactly what to play to keep our students, a rather eclectic bunch, dancing and happy all night long. He can work all types of events, from dances to speed dating, and knows exactly how to handle them all.
Bottom line: Dave, you’re my hero.

From the moment I spoke with Dave, I could tell he really wanted to get to know us and make our wedding our own. He cared about how we met and the way our relationship grew into what it was, so he could better understand what our personalities were.
The wedding day itself could not have gone off smoother. Dave was set up, ready and working with the caterer and the venue without a hitch.
I was getting compliments about the DJ all night long and it was difficult at times to find an empty space on the dance floor.
From start to finish Dave was fluid. Time changes and speech delays didn’t phase the flow of the evening at all. Dave was always ready to work with whatever had to happen and was able to coordinate with the caterer to make it all work out.
I am trying to think of other events I can throw just so I can have Dave be the DJ again.
My wife and I could not be more with our decision to use Feet First Entertainment and find an amazing DJ like Dave!

We had Feet First at our daughter’s wedding and they did an excellent job.
Our friends are a party crowd so the fun got going early and they went with the flow. When things started getting slow Sean stepping with supportive activities to liven things up such as a dance to find the longest married couple, etc.
When he found out there was a segment that wanted Line Dancing he started with a country song then transitioned to other music that could be danced in the same style. It got everyone moving together.
Sean showed up on time to do all the set ups, helped with the ceremony and kept the bridal party stick to the schedule. He is very professional and a lot of fun to work with. Thank you, FeetFirst especially to Amy Wu and Sean King for a successful party!

for over 14 years.
We just held our company picnic this past weekend. .. It was the BEST EVER!!! They totally rocked our picnic. They kept the kids and adults entertained with all of the games they provided.

We booked Feet First for our wedding in April. From the beginning, they were so easy to work with. Feet First did a wedding expo I attended, and I passed their contact info on to my now-​husband, who was in charge of finding our DJ.
Unlike another DJ company that we interviewed with, Feet First wants you to meet with the DJ working your event. This ensures you are on the same page as far as that all-​important must-​play list, as well as the equally important do-​not-​play list. We met with Dave and knew he’d be great! He worked directly with my event coordinator at the Marriott and worked out the timeline for introductions, speeches, dances, cake-​cutting and everything else that happens at a wedding reception. It was such a relief to have someone who’s done so many weddings, he can work out the timing and make sure everything runs smoothly. He was awesome at keeping in touch and answering any questions we had.
At the event itself, Dave read the crowd really well. We’re not sure how he did it, but he knew instinctively what our guests wanted to hear, and there was never a moment when people weren’t on their feet dancing. He was so good, our recently engaged friends asked about Feet First, hoping to book them for their own wedding! We are happy to recommend them to any and all our friends, and if we had to do it all over again, we would go to Feet First in a heartbeat.
