Specialties
My specialty is residential architecture, new, renovation, remodeling and additions. Special emphasis is placed on listening to clients’ desires and helping to reconcile desires and budgets. My work tends to feature beautifully considered natural light and serene, allowing spaces. I have been creating beautiful solutions in the Bay Area for over 20 years.
History
Established in 1987.
I opened my business after apprenticing for a few well-known Bay Area architects. Prior to that, an anthropology degree was followed by a stint building houses, teaching house-building to owner-builders, and gaining a master’s degree in architecture from UC Berkeley.

Business Owner
I was born and raised in Berkeley, and enjoy living in Berkeley a great deal. My practice stretches all over the Bay Area, and at times, beyond. I am currently the chairperson of the City of Berkeley Landmarks Preservation Commission. I’m the guy on the right in the photo (the other is family friend John C).
