I specialize in teaching guitar at all skill levels, beginner to advanced. All ages welcomed. Rock, pop, blues, jazz, and singer-​guitarist styles. I pay special attention to the songs and styles that you want to play. We develop custom lesson plans based on your goals. We use proven techniques for rapidly increasing your ability, so that you can enjoy your music at every stage.

Theory, ear-​training, good technique, rhythm, scales, improvising, jamming, singing-​while-​playing, and performance skills.

I provide custom lesson videos for you, understandable written materials, and clear practice assignments.

Business Owner

I found my passion for teaching at 16 years of age, instructing students at a local music store.

I started on drums at 5 years old, studied with symphony percussionists, then moved to guitar at age 12, and played in bands throughout high school.

I was awarded a music scholarship to university, and graduated with honors. I have 22 years of teaching experience, a music degree, 30 years as a performer/​arranger/​producer, and a passion for helping others love their playing and growth.

I can travel, work with individuals, parents, or groups, and have excellent references.
